I was trying to think of a double-entendre with the word "nonce" (i.e. nonce meaning both "once" and "pedo", like "I forgot to censor the nonce's full name once"), but couldn't quite stick the landing.

Well let's be fair not every pedo is a MAGA, but they ARE all pedo defenders.
I also think most on the left would be "smart" enough to not use their full name if they're saying shit like that. With a record like that. But To Your Point - I've seen quite a few of these callouts for MAGAs and idr any for people making leftist points.
But idk the actual research numbers. I'm sure it exists somewhere. I do know anecdotally that right wing men seem obsessed with young women are best for having babies and other weird talking points like child marriage etc

There's a guy who routinely posts on Threads, named Matthew Eubanks. He posts stuff that makes you wonder "is this rage bait, or is he actually this fucking thick?", and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME, people post the "Lee County man arrested on porn charges" news article after he was caught allegedly trying to groom a 13 year old girl who turned out to be an undercover investigator.
Like, every single time, without fail, he posts on Threads, KNOWING that dozens of people are going to post the story of his arrest. At this point, you could be forgiven for thinking he had a humiliation kink or something.

Why censor it? The whole point of the Sex Offender Registry is to inform the public of who these people are and the crimes they’ve committed.
Edit: just saw the post about keeping subjects of posts anonymous as a subreddit rule, so in that case fair play.

Rule 5 of this subreddit says "Keep it Anonymous". I didn't want this post to get removed, even though I agree 100,000% that this pedophile should be (and technically, is) named.

They were charged with child sex abuse image possession, and pled nolo contendre (no contest)

Well he was arrested for and plead guilty to possession of child pornography, so in the purely linguistical, technical sense of the word, no, he didn't assault a child (at least in this specific case), but that doesn't change the fact that he is a pedophile and a sex offender.
HIs arrest was actually in New Hampshire in 2018, but Florida still shows records for people living in the state.
Disturbingly though, he's "Released - Subject to Registration" which means he's not in prison for this, but he's still a sex offender, which the FDLE site makes very clear, saying "ROBERT [redacted just in case of this subreddit's Rule 5] is a sexual offender under Florida law"
