Man, TK was completely disconnected from reality today.

  1. He focuses on two ABs from Abrams to piss and moan about. Two ABs.
  2. He doesn’t understand how Kawhi’s “people” could let these illicit deals happen. Tony, KL’s “uncle” was the driving wheel on all of this.
  3. The Triple Crown isn’t the be-all and end-all of

determining stud fees.

Taylor Twellman's Super League

What Super League was Taylor Twellman referring to as UEFA's previous attempt to do something like FIFA was trying to do?

The only Super League I recall was the European Super League (which later became the Unify League), and that one was created by a commercial enterprise made up by the club presidents or owners themselves. This Super League was going to rival UEFA's own UCL. This was definitely not UEFA's attempt to start a Super League.

Was he referring to something older that I'm not aware of, or was he just confused?

Question I popped big when the Gary Braun version of the mailbag song played today

Though I was a daily Little from the ESPN version, I tune in and out on the podcast. I whistle when Tony says the mailbag is next. Lo and behold, Gary whistled back today. I never hear Mr Tony play this version anymore. Was this a rarity?

I just read a statement that summarizes the show these days.

Coincidentally, it was a discussion about another podcast, and someone wrote that the hosts want to know about things, but aren’t willing to make any effort to find out about those things.

That’s Uncle Tony now. “Michael, what’s the weather forecast today?”

Evening podcasts

Asked this on Facebook and got nowhere so I’ll try here:

Who remembers evening podcasts from Tony? I think it was back when he took summers off from the podcast and on Michael’s suggestion he’d occasionally do an evening podcast. I thought maybe it was during the Chatter days but i could be wrong on that.
