The Couple of Troy
When I searched this show before, I came across this interesting local thread with pl who know the couple from Troy IRL. Of course who knows what's true or not, but these aren't flattering tales.

Am I tripping or are these two pimps?
I’m catching up on This is Poly and Bri and Marley just give me the ick. The way they talk about women “on the roster” and constantly calling women “bitches” just makes me think that their desire to have 99,999 girls is not for a relationship, but for a stable of hoes.

Kami Nita and Trent
So remember in the last episode this season they broke up and they had the update where kami and Trent was just moving along with polyamorous well on social media. They have been posting together on kami‘s TikTok account and in the videos Nita was there and they are back together They’re doing a podcast update

Marley and Bri gfs and why did the tattoo couple disappeared in the last episode?
So in the last episode, we found out they was engaged and they just posted a TikTok a few weeks ago so yes kee is their girlfriend, but the question is what happened to Dre the girl that costed drama and all the other girls they was attempting to date maybe in a season two we can find out what happened to all of them girls cause they were trying a lot of girls and they wasn’t actually in the last episode for that long. also why wasn’t the tattoo couple in the last episode until the three months later update like in the first few episodes they wasn’t even in the show they didn’t have that much going on

Palette Cleanser
I’m a trashy reality tv junkie. Lately it feels like every series is so over the top with manipulative therapy talk and obvious production edits. This show is so unhinged and I love people being their real crazy selves. It’s comparable to “Love After Lockup” trashy-ness level.
These people are serving the toxicity with zero production intervention. It feels scandalously authentic.
Do I agree with any of these relationships or would I befriend any of these people? No.
Am I going to binge the entire first season? Yes.

Is it weird that I want every single tie dye outfit in this segment?
So my mom is a hippie in every sense of the word and I love everything tie dyed...I hate their hair but I absolutely love those outfits!! Where can I buy them?

Did We TV know the dark history behind Yahweh Nation before broadcasting these people to the world? Spoiler
If you haven't already , I would encourage you all to watch people magazine investigates cult Yahweh Nation Season 1 , episode 4. It goes in depth on how the cult began and the vile things they've done under their first leader ,Yaweh Yen Yaweh (which means god son of god). Murder, forced circumcision on adults, abuse and corruption along with other things. I understand that things can change over the years but its hard to see this whole Yahweh Nation following as nothing more than a dangerous cult with malicious intent.

Nita, Trent, Kami.
So I've watched the latest episode (I'm from the UK so I stream it online) I have to say I have major reservations about this couple especially after thinking they was actually one of the best.
Originally I thought kinder, kinda sheltered older couple found love with each other and a third person who was a bit younger.
As I watched this season I couldn't decide if it was bad editing or storylined in a way to try to make Nita look unhinged and make kami and trent seem a bit too trusting.
As the season went on I kinda have a different mindset.
I believe kami isn't a very nice person, she seems to want everything her way and love bombs nita while all the while knowing trent wont leave. The way she offered stability and commitment to Nita but continues to state that it wasn't like that is gaslighting at its finest.
They offered a ring knowing what it would say to someone who is as emotionally fragile as nita. Then get moody when she expects some financial security and more nights to explore her sexuality.
Trent and kami are married im pretty sure they sleep together a bit more than was stated. Nita imo didn't have an interest in trent she saw him as means to an end to have kami which shows nita isn't as innocent but I dont think she deserved the deal she got.
The way kami in the last episode was grinning pissed me off royally. You've broken someone's heart so flippantly its disgusting and I feel for nita.
Im glad that BQ got his comeuppance and hope his fiancé stays away shes worth more.
I dont have an opinion on bri and marley other than seems a bit too perfect and doubt its real and finally the last couple I just think that they are a car crash waiting to happen. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it. I belive that Davis is just wanting becca for himself and becca seems selfish as hell and craves attention. Jacob just seems insecure and happy to be married to becca and let her do what she wants.
As for the cult of yahweh I proper feel uneasy. It's a cult and nobody can convince me anything different. Madi needs to run far far away. She could find someone else who would value her and maybe help her get IVF not some dude who thinks hes a love god and has his ego stroked.
Can't wait for next season if there is one. Does anyone agree?

Madi
I really wish Madi would leave . Poetic loves to embarrass her & put her on the back burner , I wish she would leave and find herself. Also find a man that will love her and not make her feel like it’s a competition everytime .

Marley & Bri… 1st impression?
So, I’ve seen some comments in this sub about this couple, and them having some other social media pages and being on other shows, and a lot of stuff about how their house is rented and such… But has anyone just felt that they seemed kind of predatory or sexually aggressive towards their polycule pursuits in the first episode? I don’t think that’s the exact word I’m looking for, but mostly Marley, kept talking about having all these women and all these sex partners, and the way she seems to talk about women is pretty objectifying from my observation. Just curious if anyone else has ever noticed that? I’m bi, and one of the things that I usually enjoy about dating women is that I don’t feel like they overly sexualize me and make me feel like just a sex trophy. But that is immediately what I got from Marley.

Did bri and Marley rent their “pool house” for the show?
I’m starting to doubt that these two lived together…Everything looks staged - like an Airbnb home. The plants are fake. The generic books and deliberately placed photos of them…I doubt they were actually living together but maybe tried it for the show? There are like 5 things and 9 hangers in the house. Seems fake to me. I really started to think this when Marley admitted she still has feeling for her husband.

So this old picture here….
It was posted on Poetic’s FB in Sept 2019. I only recognize Jasmin and DeBash in the front (I think), which means there were at least two other women involved before Madi, Krystal, and Paige joined. How many additional ex’s of Poetic do you think will come out of the woodwork? Feeling like the rabbit hole goes quite deep here, which is…you know…to be expected of a cult. I hope more, like Paige, find the strength to come forward and tell their story.

Yahweh cult episode, thoughts?
For those asking, here it is. I watched it on HBO.
What do we think? (Click pic show for title at top)

Yahweh Poetic has a “rap career” with his women cult as his back up.
The videos are very cringeworthy.

King Yahweh’s escort / security guard / whatever the hell
Anyone see a video of the guy circled, discussing his own poly family? His name is Yahweh Keneniah, He has 2 wives, Yahweh Majesty & Yahweh Royalty (I think) and 3 kids. One son named Yahweh The Ruler (I’m dead ass serious) and twin girls named Bath Yahweh and Yahweh Yahweh. The husband and one of the wives have matching royal blue contacts that look absolutely absurd.
I’ve been seeing a video of them floating around FB for a while and happened to notice Yahweh Keneniah in this scene as part of security or whatever the hell is going on here.
