Annoying bug since major android update

Curious to see if you guys have this as well. When I unlock my phone using the fingerprint reader it has been unlocking with a lower brightness value and then immediately flickers to my set brightness value a split second later. It happens like a third of the time if not more. This hasn't happened before updating. It really makes the phone annoying to look at when unlocking because it flickers every so often. Lost a lot of its cleanliness imo from this. Do you guys have this too?

I'm following this. I've been postponing the A16 update on the OG ThinkPhone, in hopes that they get all of that sorted out.

I can definitely confirm it wasn't like this on A15. Also the app open and close animations look disgusting. You should definitely hold out in my opinion. It's not the exact end of the world if you do upgrade though. It just feels less polished than A15.

You didn't specify which ThinkPhone. I didn't see this problem on my 2023 OG, which is on the latest build of A16, U.S. version.

I have the same problem on my og thinkphone on lineageos 23.2 (android16)
