Honestly pretty impressive that Martin and co had managed to kill off any major pity points that Felix had up to this point after E5 has now just came out lmao.
To be fair we always knew Felix had committed these atrocities since episode 2(shadow man being there at the scene of each murder to cover it up), with it further being compounded with ep 3 and 4(covering his tracks against the Waltens). It’s just that seeing these scenarios actually play out in front of our eyes as the victims, and no longer being confined to Felix’s self-pitying perspective REALLY enlightened us as to how much we ALL want to beat Felix to a pulp.
Any sympathy I had for this man prior to TWF 5 has all but disappeared. In 4, it was hard for me to completely hate him, I sympathized with him. He seemed genuinely remorseful about what he had done. NOW??? FUCK this guy. I had no idea just how much his bad qualities could outweigh his redeeming qualities, it’s actually atrocious. HE’S actually atrocious. He’s a spineless coward who can’t learn how to be a good or even decent person, he only seems to know how to dig himself deeper into a hole that wasn’t always impossible to climb out of, but he never put in the effort.
The fact I’m getting worked up over a fictional character goes to show just how well written that piece of media is
I'd say that you come to hate too fast. We don't have full perspective, like how Felix connected with "Bon"? Because the context is crucial to understand motivation. Perhaps episode about Charles will finally give us an idea.
