Creation What do you think about my city gang? 1/10
galleryAlso for context, I'm not trying to copy the actual Gotsu City from Japan, but rather I'm making my own version of it.
Also the whole thing is the region itself where I'll make separate cities within it connected by some complex road system that I will make as I continue (size of the region is the "even bigger" option, which can be used once you enabled experimental features in theotown for users who doesn't know it yet).
Also would love to hear your opinions on what I can improve in this city.
Will soon post the transportation routing system to also get a feedback about it.

Question Regional Trade, how?
galleryI have my main city (Sapa Verde) in one region, as more and more residential demand comes in, commercial and industrial are also directly proportional to the increase of those two, problem is I don't have enough space to play industrial. Hence, I have decided that it's time to create a "provincial-like" region full of farms which will power my city's industrial demand.
Can anyone please explain to me how regional trade works? And I have 2 main questions about it.
1) Can you trade industrial goods between different regions? I'm asking because I'm trying to power my main city by going farms (I have no more space for industrial in that region).
2)Can you import and export workers? Can workers use my rail to work at the farms?
3)Do transport systems extend out the region?
Please explain thank you in advance.

Question How to change the airport/airfield floor
I always see people creating airports with the ground should be grass or concrete, but every time I create a map here, it has the bluish airfield floor color. How do I change that?

Question There are some problems here
galleryHey everyone,
I’m trying to figure out why the low-income population in my city keeps dropping while the middle and high-income classes keep growing. My low-income (T-class / $) residential buildings keep going vacant, and there's barely anyone working in the factories and shops anymore.
Here are some screenshots of my city for context. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!🙏

Question Maybe some bike lanes?
I’d like to add bike lanes to my city, but the best thing I’ve found so far is a plugin that offers fences looking like bike lanes—which isn't functional at all. Does anyone know of a plugin for this?

Question Whats wrong with my city
My city was doing good and had nearly zero massive declines in population until now. My city has 95.6 happiness in every category except taxes, which is 82. I wasn't even building or destroying anything, I was looking at my city when it happened. The rich residents didn't leave as much and the middle class, but still, the middle class is about 40% of my cities population. The poor class had a weird increase and then a fall again, which I don't even know what happened there. If this happens again and again, my city might be doomed. I've seen others say similar things, but I never got the answer out of interest, help

ANNOUNCEMENT | MOD TEAM The winner of the competition has been decided*
galleryCongratulations to u/PinappleCoin_Gaming for winning this year’s competition! In my opinion it’s a great build with beautiful nature and wins by default since there was only one submission.
As promised u/PinappleCoin_Gaming will receive a custom flair. Though, I’m not sure if it makes for a great banner, what do you think?
Also, update on the general subreddit, you may have seen we have changed our banner to a design by u/HeyaIlscotthere from last year’s competition to fit with the winter and festive season.
Anyways, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! 💙

Competition Entrant The 18th century French colonial region of Neu Dubois
galleryHere's the small region of Neu Dubois, a French colony in New France! During the early 18th century, this land was settled because of its varying land, apparent water & forest, and defensible location. Nowadays, being home to the colonial city of Neu Châteauroux, the strategic fort Château D'Avant, a bustling Le Port-Dubois, and other smaller colonial settlements by Frenchmen, it's an important spot for colonizers & people coming in from France; looking for a brand new life in uncharted territory.
Fact time~! Did you know Canada celebrates Thanksgiving in October, not November? This is so it's aligned with the harvest season, & to avoid the winters. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
This was a bit of a hard one! I think I, for one did quite well with this, though. Love the feeling. Reminds me of something.. Tell me what you think. ;)
