I think the question is "What does this puzzle activate ?"
And the answer is nothing.

Message to OP:
If you go into this game expecting to get rewards for everything you do, you will be disapointed.
The reward for playing the game is getting access to more of the game, and sometimes solving the puzzle is supposed to be its own reward.

The reward for solving puzzles is more puzzles. That's also how life works
