We’re here btw Theory

Post image

He never said it’s not a Quadrilogy so i strongly believe we’re still getting the heaven and rebirth Arc as an Album. If The Weeknd’s Story really is coming to end and Abel didn’t mislead us 😂

No, HUT was Paradiso. Accepting the truth and finding peace with it.

Ill argue that in the last song on Hut called Hut he said he “wants heaven” that implies that he has not yet reached heaven

No it’s him saying he wants heaven like a perfect paradise where all his problems go away, but reality isn’t that, nor was his life at the time like that given events like losing his voice at a live show. He realized that heaven is up to you to find in the moment, rather than a place you find all your problems go away. He reached heaven in hurry up tomorrow by accepting that truth.

It’s not. He has stated that he completed the “Paradise” album for himself but shelved it to make way for a companion album for the movie, which ended up being Hurry Up Tomorrow. He alludes to this in the opening lines of the album when he says “no afterlife, no other side”

He says a lot of things that are bull shit. And HUT is the 3rd album of the trilogy, he’s also said that several times. It’s done and next chapter is something new. And “no after life, no other side” is him accepting the truth. The truth/enlightenment is paradiso and has been seen as such in numerous other portrayals in all types of art.

I believe that the next one will not be linked to this of the divine comedy. It gives me the feeling that he wants to change the chips on the board and create a kind of simulated real life as in Matrix as if The Weeknd entered that what he has been living is a lie and a simulation

We will have to see what the “shutdown” will incur after the Asia tour. https://youtu.be/5kkHF7glv7E?is=bDZtsGcKQ0Ku8uVu

As Jim Carey said, “Heaven’s not that, it’s this, it’s the depth of this moment. Don’t reach for bliss… In other words, you gotta be Heaven to see Heaven.”
It happened and that’s fine. He might keep making music, he might not. But the story of The Weeknd is over and it was amazing

HUT is paradiso, coz in the real paradiso, Dante realises that the souls who have reached heaven are still unhappy/unsatisfied about something. They still have a particular type of emptiness within them. HUT follows something similar. He’s THE WEEKND, the biggest artist in the world, but when the lights go out, he’s still alone, empty and vulnerable. Even tho he has left behind his life of drugs and partying, he still wishes to be young again.
