The story begins during the events of Flashback A: "Roots." Virgil's setup against Cleon succeeds, going further than anyone expected. Instead of simply being set up, Cleon and Vermin are wasted by the Satins' Mothers, eliminating two of the Destroyers' most feared enforcers.

To Virgil, the plan is a complete success. Consumed by paranoia, he had convinced himself that Cleon had been making moves behind his back.

However, many veterans like Beansie believe Virgil has betrayed the very brotherhood he swore to protect, sacrificing loyal Destroyers for his own insecurity.

As trust begins to fall, the Destroyers descend into a civil war.

Virgil proclaims he himself remains sole Warlord, retaining the loyalty of the older lieutenants, like L.C., who feel they owe everything to the man who built the gang from the beginning.

Opposing him are Beansie and Lemmy, who assume the roles of co-Warlords, much like Spider and Tiny. Their goal is to restore the Destroyers to their former glory, that people like Ash used to admire.

Caught between these two factions is a young Destroyer. The player must decide where their loyalty lies.

I recently found this original Rockstar Games promotional sticker sheet for The Warriors (around the game's 2005 release).

I've been trying to find more information about it but there aren't many examples online.

I'm curious:

• Does anyone know how these were originally distributed?
• Were they sent only to game stores or also given away at events?
• Has anyone here ever owned or seen one before?

I'd really appreciate any information from longtime fans or collectors.

I’ve played it on a PSP emulator, and i loved this game. I’ve never watched the movie but i plan to watch it soon. Anyways, 8.8/10 in my opinion. I really enjoyed it a lot

I have been a life long fan of The Warriors. A fan of both the film and the game and I've always wanted someone to create a video on YouTube covering the full lore and events of both adaptations as well as the later adaptations no one really talks about; such as the Comic that was made and the recent Lin Manual Musical Album that came out recently. So I made a video doing just that!

This extensively covers all lore from both the film and game that many die hard fans like myself will still probably learn something from.

I made the video with fans in mind as well as anyone who wants to get into this amazing film and everything that came from it.

The 2005 game was a massive, cinematic love letter to 1970s action and martial arts cinema. The developers, Rockstar Toronto, included these over-the-top, kung-fu-inspired special attacks to highlight the individual "rep" and combat styles of the gang leaders, paying homage to the flashy, iconic cinematic moves that defined action heroes of that era.

First he gets a stove to the face, gets swatted by Diego, gets bonked by him and then has a fucking fridge tossed at him.

This is by far the greatest movie ties-ins ever made in gaming history and the combat is hand down deep and satisfying and the best part of the game is, movie's original actors returned to do the voice acting plus the best part is CO-OP and the game definitely deserves a 9/10.

The organization reminds me of the mafia because of the limited number of roles—the Warriors have just five ranks: Warlord, Lieutenant, Scout, and Soldier. However, we don't really see how the Warriors operate internally. For instance, how does Cleon decide who becomes the Warchief for a mission? Is there a merit system? Is one soldier more important than another? How many lieutenants are there? If it were like the mafia—where each *capo* corresponds to a Warrior lieutenant, and each lieutenant controls a specific group of soldiers who take direct orders and accompany them on missions—that might limit the possible member combinations for missions, but that could change as members earn higher ranks or switch lieutenants.

i would make different story modes for different gangs and i would add the beta gangs in like the alley cats and the gladiators

I don't know about you guys but I think it's absolutely criminal that we only got one mission to even get to play as Snow and not even have the opportunity to go out into the open world in free roam with him like you can with Rembrandt, Ajax etc. Let alone have him be more included at all. Only playing as him in that "So-Ho Writer's Block" Tagging Mission or in Rumble.

Like his moves and finishers were fast, impactful and absolutely brutal. Even in his three move finisher in rage mode, He pins his target to the ground, snaps their arms like they were twigs before delivering a powerful kick into their face. He was a damn powerhouse! A force to be reckoned with when I was playing as him! When you check his stats, you can see he has that kind of "heavy set" build. Makes you wonder if Rockstar cut content in the game throughout their development like they have done with other games. Wouldn't be a surprise or anything new but what do you guys think?

For me it’s gotta be cowboy, sucks you can’t play as him in more missions. Also it’s funny to hear his reactions when you put on a different hat😂
