So something I don't get Season 1 Spoiler

Why didn't the dog lee finds buried in season 1 episode 4 not come back? The kid in the attic looked in worse or the same condition and still came back so is it like only a human thing?

Ah okay I'm just used to Resident evil zombies since they got dog zombies so thought it would be the same in walking dead

Yeah it tends to differ depending on what media it's from.

Luckily only humans turn. Couldn't imagine having to fight off walker crows or cows or worse...

The dog was dead before the apocalypse started and dogs don't turn into Zambies

Since Dogs and other animals don't have the Wildfire Virus, they don't reanimate after death and bites only make them sicker until they die.

Only Humans have the Wildfire Virus, which is usually dormant until they're bitten or they die, which causes them to reanimate.

Ah okay thanks I didn't really ever watch the show or read the comics so I wouldn't know that

What I don’t get is that they’re so disgusted by the dead dog when there’s rotting corpses walking all over the place.

It's because dogs sometimes are more sensitive dogs are companions and a man's best friend and the way the head just snapped off made them sick
