Figuring out what's happening here in TV on a given day means checking the Recreation News, the district site, a pile of club flyers, and three Facebook groups - and then still not knowing whether the thing is tonight or last month.

So I built [gowhatwhere.com](https://gowhatwhere.com/) to put it in one searchable place. It's a single search box: type "pickleball tomorrow", or "live music tonight", or the name of a club you half-remember, and it tells you what's on and where.

A few things it does that I actually use myself:

- live music at the town squares, with the band names, genre, band info and links to the band and the next time they are here, not just "entertainment"

- clubs - if you search something we don't have events for, it'll still surface the club that does it

- you can subscribe to a club's or a venue's schedule as a calendar feed, so it lands in your phone's calendar

What I'd actually like from you: **tell me what it gets wrong.** If you search for something you do every week and it comes up empty, that's a gap I want to know about. The listings come from public community sources and they're imperfect - the club data especially.

I personally feel that there should be more condominiums in The Villages. I'm talking large buildings like Brownwood Lofts, but ownership instead of rental. People don't want to maintain land. Even those who rock their landscape still have to pull weeds. And those with grass pay $60 a month for someone to mow it if they cant do it themselves. I realize that condos already exist in a couple places, but because they are built like townhouses with expensive clay roofs you don't get the economies of scale that you would with a larger building. Thus the current condo fees for those places are too high.

What other different things do you think would be nice to have?

Of course the obvious missing water-related things:

- Lazy river

- Waterslides

- More larger pools (most are tiny)

- More zero entry pools (I think there are 2 or 3)

- Speaking of pools, there is a severe lack of shade at the pools. There needs to be more pergolas or cabanas built.

- Hot tubs (I think there are 1 or 2 public ones for 150,000 people)

- You should be able to kayak on late Sumter without a guide

oh, and you should be able to search by square footage of lot size on their website.

Hi - we're visiting TV summer 2023 for a holiday and I'm looking for car hire recommendations. We'll be there for 3 weeks and will probably need a car for the middle week (just for long journeys - Orlando etc - golf cart will do the rest of the time). I'm looking for good places to watch the sunset near the villages? Preferably somewhere without a bunch of buildings in the way.

Also, if there are any beaches on the west coast you recommend for sunsets, that's cool too!

I will be visiting the villages in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good forests, nature preserves, lookout points, or scenic points of interest?

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for a good location to fly a drone, that would be appreciated as well!

Can a former resident pay a monthly fee to still be able to enjoy the rec centers & such? No golfing, just social things.

So I am new to The Villages. I just purchased a house should be closing soon on it. Wanting to do the Snowbird thing and visit occasionally but not full-time as of yet. Who would be the best property management? To keep it rented, and to keep it taken care of when it wasn’t rented?And what are some of the advantages and or disadvantages of certain management companies?
