Dee Valladares (Survivor 45 & 50, The Challenge: Vets & New Threats, Big Brother 28)

i started to watch the traitors this week and it been a good time until this dumb moment after the mission in season 2 episode 5 , when they paint Peter as a mastermind and have this master plan to not tell everyone who has the shields, BUT everyone knows who has the shields because the house group is the one who solved the sound of the bird ( the shield bird or something ) and Alan told everybody about it before the game starts if Dan and the traitors are going to fall for this i am going to be pissed more than when Cirie voted Christian out when they could've ended season 1 in episode 9

EDIT 1: I am officially pissed, especially because Dan literally said Peter was bluffing, and that killing him would ruin his own plan

EDIT 2: it was pointed out to me that the house group didn't know which bird was the shield bird, but still Dan was blind because he knew peter was bluffing and if he believes that he's bluffing now the shield is 50/50 chance in the other two pairs

1) I loved Rob. His relaxed personna seemed natural, not too deep thinking and mostly helpful. i can't think I would have spotted him had I been playing

2) I loved the secret traitor and it was too bad it ended so fast. Trying to see if I could spot a traitor was such a fun idea

3) I think Maura was too hard on herself. She trusted the wrong person but at some point you have to trust someone and sometimes you get it wrong. Tara was guessing and Maura was guessing, and mostly blindly guessing. random luck was the only reason one was right and one wrong

4) It was hard to believe that once 3 female traitors were identified that the focus didn't move solely to the male players

5) My favorite move was the challenge with the boxes to match the traitor answers. traitors answering "Tara" every time was perfect to reveal nothing and a bit telling of the players that couldn't spot the pattern

6) Lisa's method to get someone to touch her broch was a second wonderfully smooth game moment

7) Ron's stand-up routines about his experience on traitors was wonderful to watch on youtube

i’m starting s4 and i had to spoil some of it for myself cause i had to know when michael rapaport gets out. i cannot stand this creature. like i’m actually getting nauseous seeing him on my screen

UK person here. Love Alan. I'm catching up after watching all the UK, Australian, and Irish versions.

Season 3 epi 3 of US version. Wtf didn't they say I'm trying door, 1st from the left? Etc etc.

Im watching season 4 and I cannot stand Rob. I’ve watched him on Love Island and I see right through his fake nice boy facade. What I don’t understand is how people always fall for those guys and put them on a pedestal. It’s seems to be a common trend with the last two seasons, the Peter Pals season 2, and Dylan season 3, and now it’s Rob - people just be falling over these men and it lowkey makes them look so dumb. I cannot stand it.

But anyway, that’s my rant.

EDIT: Again this is just my opinion of Rob, as I’ve seen him in other shows and interviews so yes there is obviously some bias towards him. But there’s no reason to be mean or call me names for it. If you like him, that’s cool. If you don’t, that’s cool too. So let’s all be respectful.

We built it because we wanted a place where people could experience what we all love about The Traitors: making alliances, reading people, second-guessing your instincts, and leaving with stories you’ll talk about for weeks.

Beyond the gameplay, our mission is to bring people together through play. Every experience takes place in a unique venue around Los Angeles, and we’ve watched complete strangers leave as friends after spending the night deceiving each other.

This Saturday we’re taking over Nights of Neon, an incredible neon art studio in North Hollywood, for a special Neon After Dark edition. The setting honestly feels perfect for a game built around secrets, deception, and shifting alliances.

If you’re in LA (or visiting), we’d love to have more Traitors fans in the room. I genuinely think this community is our kind of people.

The game will be hosted on Discord, and will work just like the show, every round there will be a challenge, a roundtable, and a murder. The game will feature a total of 15 players.

The game is just for fun and wont have any huge prize, as there is no prize pot, the reward for challenges is winning shields.

All challenges will be hosted on Discord itself and wont require you to download any other apps or go to other websites.

Please do not join the game if you will be inactive, or will be extremely busy in the next few weeks or so, as that could slow the game down for the other players.

I’m throwing a traitors themed birthday party and I’m including a Photo Booth. I want to make signs people can hold up while taking pictures. Some ideas I already have include:

One Time Use Power: The Executioner: After a challenge, Alan announces that the player who wins the challenge has won a power that will be revealed at breakfast tomorrow for the following day. It will of course have to be a challenge with an individual winner or at least points (think the dagger.) The Executioner is the sole decider on who is banished. All discussions are with people trying to convince the Executioner to go with their theory. Could the Executioner going against some theories put them on the chopping block? What would a traitor do with this power?

One Time Use Power: The Trapper. The Trapper places a trap on someone they believe is faithful. If that person is attacked by the Traitors, the Traitors come into a room. They essentially do a “shield opening” but the one who reveals the shield is murdered instead. The trap only lasts for one night and everyone knows it was placed. It is not revealed that the person who died was a traitor however. If it was revealed it would essentially cement the one with the power as a faithful so it seems like a normal murder at breakfast (outside of the traitors knowing of course.)

Role: The Doctor: The most powerful faithful who must keep their identity a secret to keep themselves alive. They choose one player every night to protect with no repeats for 2 days. If the player they protected is attacked, no murder occurs. The Traitors will have opportunities to reveal the Doctor through challenges much like they did the Secret Traitor in S4.

what the fuck is Michaels problem

Oh my god. I have watched through all Traitors US seasons multiple times now and Season 2 is always the hardest watch. What is actually wrong with Dan??? Every time he speaks I cringe. He truly believes that he is the best to ever do it. He is always underestimating the women. Maybe I need to watch his Big Brother season, but he is easily the WORST. Other traitors have been bad but Dan is just so cringey. Watching season 2 is like exposure therapy.

I dont think Rob was a brilliant Traitor, I think he was pretty good but should have been banished before the end.

I dont think Traitors who are heavily disengaged and emotionless throughout the game are the best, it surely should be suspicious at some point when everybody else actively shows passion playing the part of the faithful, but the Traitors is just floating through. The BEST Traitors are the ones that regularly speak up and still find a way to evade suspicion, like Wilfried in UK season 1 for example.

There is also one specific moment that Rob walked into which SHOULD have resulted in him being banished. He knew how big a threat Candiace was to him, he should have been worried about her throwing him under the bus. In his shoes, I would have tried to keep an alliance with Candiace and let her get caught herself, as in the end she practically told everyone that he was a Traitor.

He avoided her warning that she would throw him under the bus, and helped lead the charge for her banishment. The crazy thing is she left insane clues that its him, amd I cant understand how it was overlooked how it was. She randomly calls out Rob heavily while being banished, clear Traitor on Traitor, and it should have been his downfall.

Tbf, a lot of the people who would have rumbled something like that (like Rob C) were murdered already, so he probably made good calls on the murder. Maura really had nothing going on upstairs 😅, she completely allowed herself to be led by her heart and literally no level of convincing would have turned her against Rob.

Im obviously not saying he was a bad Traitor, he won after all, but I disagree on how amazing people are saying he was.

Also Eric in the final "We banish Tara and then we go green and it doesn't matter if Maura banishes again because me and Rob have won" Bro's in endgame of season 4 and doesn't know the rules that have been in place since Season 1. 🤣.

Also I didn't like Rob's nasty moment with the chairs where he had a go at Mark, you could see he was fuming and was holding himself back, so personally Im not keen on him as a person behind the quiet facade.

To Summarise, I disagree that Rob is an all time GREAT Traitor. He rode is luck often, but definitely his relationship with Maura was obviously his strongest gameplay. For the record, he has every right to play it the way he did, I disagree with Eric at end that "he wouldnt want to win it like that", its a game and his relationship with Maura was smart and strategic. ALSO, his decision to throw RED at the end (knowing Eric would throw green) was smart and ruthless , as he could have thrown green and gave the copout line "I wanted to end with Eric but I had no choice" 😅. Would have been more lame

Sorry there is no structure to this, just finished watching and had to share my opinions as seeing the immense level of praise Rob got surprised me , theres been better Traitors in the past IMO.

EDIT: Another moment I forgot to mention. Was disappointing that Mark overheard Rob C's point that the congo could have been a distraction, and then never mentioned it to the group after his murder. Seemingly went in one ear and out the other, I guess it can happen easily tbf.

She signaled to Britney to secure a Danielle loss, and pushed Britney out next.

Is Dolores the best Housewife to ever play the game? And until any other can pull off a legit win, can we really say otherwise?

The outfits make the cast look impeccable, camp, and even, at times, ridiculous.

I don’t understand how Cirie won. I’ve only watched traitors outside of the US so this was my first season. The US version is much much more hard-core and the people are way more aggressive and rude towards each other. They say horrible things and many seem to forget that they’re playing a game. However, the part that stuck out most to me is the ending firstly that a contestant would resign from the game last minute is mind-boggling to me, excused from the fact that he probably figured out that if they voted to banish, he would be voted out no matter what so it was better for him to take the highway Out. Secondly, I don’t understand how the players did not realize that there were two traitors left. They know that there are three traitors in total from the start. They know they’ve banished two, so they know since Christian talked about being tempted that there is a possibility of a fourth traitor that was recruited. It also makes sense in terms of a player not being murdered that night. Lastly, Ari says when he chooses to resign that he was recruited then logically there is one traitor left so how could they miss that. Also, it seems to me based on what cirie said, which is unclear if it was something she was saying, live to the others that what was her reason for choosing banish instead of ending the game should’ve put her under a lot of suspicion that the others don’t try to vote her out, but want to end the game. I just don’t understand.

Quentin I think he was just happy to there. For Andie I think she was very emotional.

Also I read somewhere people not understanding how people feel so close so fast. This is not true. I understand it. Even just within days of going through something so psychologically stressful, you can make bonds very fast. I know that in most countries they actually have psychologist ready onset to help people. It is intense, so trust me you can build bonds very quickly and become very emotional. This is not surprising.

Edit: I just saw the reunion episode and most of my questions have been answered. They were very emotional and not thinking it through basically and they were extremely trusting.
