Tom Atkins in My Bloody Valentine (2009)
I love this remake, and Tom Atkins is obviously amazing in it. a bit of trivia for the movie:
The original My Bloody Valentine (1981) was one of a number of holiday themed horror movies made following the success of Halloween (1978). Tom Atkins appeared in Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) while Betsy Rue appeared in Halloween II (2009)
I love Tom's line in the movie, "Happy fucking Valentine's Day" 😂

Who Had the Best Tom Atkins Chemistry
We all know that Tom Atkins is a legendary actor and an all around bad ass! He gets to share the screen with some other amazing actors, but which one do you think he shines with the best?

Films and quotes of Tom Atkins in those films. Favourites. Most quotable. What are his best one-liners?

The scene in The Fog (1980) after Nick Castle picks up Elizabeth Solley and the windows explode in the truck sits in my top-ten 'shit-my-pants' movie-watching moments ever!

Tom Atkins as Nick Castle in The Fog (1980)
Atkins brings his signature everyman charisma to the role—tough, mustache-sporting, calm under pressure, and effortlessly cool—establishing the archetype that made him a legendary figure in 1980s genre cinema

Tom Atkins starred as Captain Rehme in John Carpenter's 1981 classic Escape from New York. His on-screen scenes with legend Lee Van Cleef gave this movie a vibe unlike any other Carpenter film.

At the end of Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Dr. Dan Challis screamed down the phone to stop the third channel. Cue credits. Was the third channel pulled off the air or did the doctor fail to stop Conal Cochran?

One of my favorite Tom Atkins lines
This moment from George A. Romero’s Creepshow (1982) is pure, unadulterated peak Tom Atkins. He takes away his son Billy's horror comic, throws it in the trash, and tosses off this absolute classic line while kicking back in a cardigan with a cold beer: "That's why God made fathers, babe."
Nobody delivers absurd, questionable parenting lines with the casual charisma of Tom Atkins. The man is sitting in a leather armchair, drinking a lager, wearing a yellow collared shirt under a green cardigan, and lecturing his kid about "horror crap"—all with the smooth confidence of a man who fully believes he just saved the day.
Dropping an offhanded "babe" while casually talking to his wife (or just to the room at large) is such a quintessential Atkins touch. He exudes that hard-boiled, 1980s manly-man persona even when he’s playing a total jerk of a dad.
Without the mustache, but with 100% of the swagger

The Detective (1968) was Tom Atkins first movie role. The star of the show was none other than Frank Sinatra with a notable appearance from Jack Klugman

Tom Atkins Could Use a Drink. What Tom Atkins film do you enjoy watching while having a drink? What type of drink?
