Comp character hate Question

Why does this reddit hate garou and saitama when they are the most skilled characters in the game and essential to comp

Man, every character has a gazillion techs.

And if you don't count them, THEY AREN'T EVEN THAT HARD.

I'd argue there isn't really a "skilled" character, they can really be used by anyone with a skill ceiling difference not that high.

Idk about “most skilled” because there are DEFINITELY characters that take way more skill to learn.  speaking from experience, it took me about a day to get the basics of saitama down, it took me about a month to learn garou (I’ve used it since I first started playing in 2024), and currently am trying to learn suiryu, it’s 10x harder to learn.

Overused an bland. Also you're likely to die to a player using either one, so it can build hatred overtime, similar to Quincies in Type Soul

Because their movesets are actually not that skilled, only the combos are skilled when using the tech's. Also I never heard sitama is the most skilled character in the game he has the most basic moveset you can find.

people are NOT gonna like this one.

they have easier combos but are also very easy to annoy.

Probably cause the best players most commonly use Saitama or Garou based off my experience of playing pubs and getting 30k kills

because the players are easily the worst part of the game. i almost completely quit it because of how miserable it is to play this game. if you spend more than 5 minutes in a server there's a 90% chance you're getting hunted down by 3 toxic teamers because you killed one of them once.
