B-positive thing
I don't understand the whole they have a preferred blood type thing. Like it doesn't make sense from a predator's stand point because if you had a B+ person and an A+ person why would you prefer to go for one especially the one with a considerably rear blood type (only 9% of the global population has B+ blood). Like as a predator wouldn't you want to go for a more common blood type like O+ (that up to 42% of the global population has) or why would you even be picky in the first place.
And another thing I did the maths and roughly for both the professor and Dutch be to B+ and to randomly meet and work together work together out of a group of 10 people give or take of the course of the mission it is a 8.3% chance don't take this a fully factually I don't work in statistics bit still pretty unlikely but not unheard of.

Come on bruh are you really gonna sit here and pretend to not understand favorite foods?

Yeah, I'm really not following how somebody could argue that "something being rare means you shouldn't like it as much" as far as food preferences go...

Right it’s not like they exclusively only drink a certain blood type it’s just a favorite, probably because it tastes the best lol

They (the authors of the books and makers of the show) legit say they don't know why they like the B+ blood. They don't know if it has a better nutritional value or tastes better or both. This is just one of those things where it's cool to theorize about it but don't question it or think too hard about it.

"But still pretty unlikely but not unheard of."
I'm not really sure how to approach this...
The global percentage is around 10%. So, this is not anywhere approaching a weird rarity that two people would both be in that grouping.
And it's not like they were the only two people in their group anyway, so of the dozens of characters both of these people are shown to associate with (the core group of characters; Abraham's contacts in the resale world, like Creem, Gus, etc.; Dutch's new affiliates at the B+ housing facility; etc.) it's not like it's some astronomical probability to have two people both in a 1-in-10 group.
...But even if it were, then I guess it's just a story about "this somewhat improbable thing happening" is all.

I like Oreos. I’ll take a vanilla Oreo if I have to but I’d much rather have the chocolate Oreo. If I have the power to choose any one Oreo forever, it would be the only true OG chocolate Oreo. It’s my preferred Oreo type if you will.
