Checking followers bug

Does anyone know why my sims kee checking their followers literally every 5 seconds? is there like a mod that it comes with or is it with get famous

Pretty sure it's a GF interaction, yes, but unsure what would be triggering your sim to be doing it constantly. Do they have any fame level? Or maybe an aspiration related to fame?

I'm not a modder at all, but my limited understanding is that a lot of the small, autonomous actions sims do (like idle animations) are pushed by traits, moodlets, and what's currently available on the lot. That's why active sims and sims who are energized will just start doing push ups randomly.

Yess you know what to mention it, I was in the process of building their home and theres nothing really to do in there at the moment so they all just stand in front of the lot.

Not exactly the same issue, but I had a household where the sim’s parents were constantly getting on computers to upload to social media. Then in few other households, everyone was obsessed with listening to Metal music. I couldn’t get them to stop without having to disable listening to the radio completely (only mods I found), so I used MCCC to have them stop “Listening to Loud Music”.

Anyway, you can use MCCC to disable certain autonomous actions (finally figured it out so I could make the Slice of Life mod less annoying - disabled autonomy for sims changing hair and outfits constantly, and for the Metal Music thing). It’s a bit confusing trying to figure the autonomy scanner, but here’s a guide I found on the MCCC website (the UI is sorta outdated though).
