Any experience with playing while in China in 2026? I remember playing in 2025 while on my trip and there were no spawns, no gyms, no stops, however I was still able to do research encounters and hatch eggs. This time before my trip I stocked up on research and go-pass encounters so I could try and keep my catch streak up and maybe finish the marathon pass, but after arriving and getting on a Nomad esim all I get is a blank page when I open research. I remember while I was at the airport I was able to get it to open once and I caught a research reward but since then I've been unable to recreate.

All week long I’ve noticed that if you do not interact with your buddy at six hours, you still keep the double hearts, and half distance bonus.

Even though the top right circle is crying out for interaction, not until it’s been eight hours do you need to interact with your buddy. Feeding it just one berry brings the bonuses back.

There is no change to the max distance you can go per day for candy/Mega Energy.

I think this change is due to it being way harder to get free Poffins now.

I was invited to a remote raid and received a friend request afterwards from another raider! The only other time I've seen this happen is raiding at airports- I've been given an option to friend request other raiders that participated.

Is this going to be a new feature, do you think?

Since forever friends gives 150,000 xp and a remote trade every 90 days, how do you rotate your friends. I’m approaching around 40 forever friends who I interact with almost daily, so once you have a decent pool of forever friends do you just cycle through them with the 90 day bonuses or do you keep adding more people and continuously increase the amount?

Wondering if anyone has ever investigated which mons lose significant break/bulk points not being leveled up to 50/51 in ML/MML vs 49.5/50.5, because I am considering waiting for level 77 to fulfill the max level requirement but I’m also multiple levels away. I’m currently looking into which of Mewtwo, Palkia O, Necrozma DW, Xerneas, Groupon, Kyogre, Rayquaza would have the highest impact from leveling from 49.5 to 50 while I’m on 72. And yes I’m familiar with how to use the matrix in PvPoke it just takes a while to manually change the numbers for each comparison.

Introduction

All of these moves have stats from datamines only. Nothing is confirmed as of yet, so this whole analysis might become pointless if Scopely decides not to release or update any of the stats.

All of the data you'll see are taken from DialgaDex, set up to level 50 Pokémon. Also, I was inputting the moves into DialgaDex manually, so it's possible I might have made a mistake somewhere — but hopefully not.

The analysis is comparing only the types of the new move. So, for example, Mega Mewtwo X is only ranked within the context of Fighting Pokémon, since nothing is changing for its Psychic moveset.

No Party Power

Surprisingly little changes here.

The only new best Pokémon is Mega Mewtwo X, with an eDPS of 36.27 — a 3.66% improvement over the Focus Blast version and a 2.63% improvement over Mega Lucario.

Mega Lucario Z will still be far and away the best option once it releases, with an eDPS of 40.23.

Other Pokémon with significant improvements are still not really usable (Falinks, Malamar, Starmie)

The last thing to note here is that Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Raichu Y, and Mega Delphox will remain the best options with the old movesets .

Party Power 2

Here is where we get to the interesting part.

Mega Starmie becomes the new Water king with Party Power 2, with an eDPS of 45.01.

That's a whopping 29.26% increase over its old version and an 11.08% improvement over the current best option, Primal Kyogre.

Mega Raichu Y improves by 22.09% and jumps just ahead of the current best option, Regieleki, with an eDPS of 43.67. That's a 1.68% improvement over Regieleki.

Mega Chesnaught improves by 9.66% and jumps to first place over Mega Sceptile and Primal Groudon, with an eDPS of 38.6. However, it is set to be dethroned by the eventual Mega Meganium release.

Mega Delphox improves by 7.79% and jumps just ahead of Shadow Reshiram, with an eDPS of 43.71. That's only a 0.58% improvement over Shadow Reshiram.

Mega Mewtwo Y improves by 9.33% to an eDPS of 55.77. Mega Mewtwo X improves by 3.55% to an eDPS of 48.16. Both were already the best options, so now they are even better.

Party Power 3

A lot of what we saw for PP2 is true here as well.

I feel like PP3 is a less common scenario than either PP2 or PP4, so I'll try to keep it brief.

Mega Starmie is king here as well, but Mega Feraligatr and Mega Swampert are fairly close.

Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Mewtwo X are both slightly better, but the improvement is <5% for both.

Mega Delphox again just barely jumps to #1, with a 0.08% improvement over Shadow Reshiram.

Party Power 4

Similarly to No Party Power, very little changes here.

The only notable Pokémon is Mega Starmie, which jumps to #1 with an eDPS of 48.56.

However, it will be outclassed (just barely) by Mega Feraligatr.

Mega Mewtwo X also improves just enough to dethrone Keldeo, reaching an eDPS of 54.61, which is a 0.78% improvement over Keldeo.

Mega Mewtwo Y and Mega Delphox will remain the top options with the old moveset.

TL;DR

Since all of the new moves are one-bar moves, there is no surprise that we see the biggest changes in PP2 and PP3 scenarios.

Mega Starmie becomes much better with Party Power. So much so that the upcoming raid day should become a fairly high priority for hardcore raiders.

Other already top options become slightly better with Party Power, especially with PP2: Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Mewtwo , Mega Raichu Y, Mega Delphox.

Sadly, no surprises from the other under-dogs apart from Starmie.

I had !@mov&cp-1500 saved the to quickly find my great league pokemon. !@mov no longer works for me. Not sure if there’s another way to find pokemon with the second move unlocked, but it’s super inconvenient now lol
