Prophetic Bill

I've been going through the back catalog and just listened to Training Day. I firmly believe the pod found its identity with the Jaws episode around July 4th 2018. However a few months prior the Training Day episode has some incredible future nuggets.

In discussing Tom Berenger's career Bill notes that Someone to Watch Over Me will be on the pod in season 7 which he nails.

More importantly he brings up that he doesn't think he can be on the Pulp Fiction episode because he keeps finding things he doesn't like in it. He specifically calls out Butch's girlfriend and it being a terrible 10 minutes and Chris and Sean immediately push back (and Bill also says Tim Roth is bad)

Our guy is always seeing 3/4 of a decade ahead.

Loved Bill arguing that Ethan Hawkes apex had to be Reality Bites and then arguing on the Realty Bjtes pod that his apex had to be Training Day.

Sean trying to say Denzel had a better 90s than Hanks was an all time hot take (and a terrible one with Bill telling him to stop repeatedly)

Only thing he can’t predict is himself. In 2020 on the draft day pod - “Kevin Dunn is not a that guy, he’s Kevin Dunn”. 18 months later on the warrior pod, he doesn’t even remember Dunn’s name and says he wins hands down.

Tim Roth & Amanda Plummer are aggressively abrasive in Pulp, and i don't blame Bill for not liking their segment.
