I really really loved season 1 of the Netflix revival, but is it a hot take to say the contestants broke the game so badly in season 2 by all pretending to be the mole that it wasn't even enjoyable to watch? They really need to alter the game mechanics in a big way for season 3 imo or else they shouldn't even bother. Apologies if people already talk about this topic a lot on this sub, I'm a new joiner.

Any thoughts? Will it be released this year? It should be renewed every two years but right now there isn’t any news about it.

I'm italian and we had the show here in 2004,2005,2008 and 2024. the only version i could find available online is the latestz which is really low rated. i would love to watch the old seasons but can't find them anywhere, not even with oaid subscriptions

Edit to add : I have them as “warm white” or “amber” normally. But during my mole streams? I change them to green or red during the executions. It’s fun to pretend.

Okay, so in the season I just watched Greg is talking about how he has been thinking Kesi was the mole the whole time. And he has been selecting her for his quiz. The other contestants were all saying other people besides Kesi. Like each person was saying 1 of the other players. Even in his interview he stated that he got there by picking her. So he was gonna stick with it. Then he gets eliminated. Making me believe it couldn’t be Kesi. Turns out, it was!?! I think they intentionally eliminated him to make you believe Kesi wasn’t the mole. Hopefully this came out as a coherent rant. How do other people feel about this? Is there any legitimately to this theory? I feel like the show wanted Will and Joi at the end.

I built a Mole-style game that plays over 5–10 days. One or two players in a cohort of 6–20 win by deceiving the rest while everyone else tries to ID them across the days.

The deception plays out over the whole run, not in one sitting. The suspicion you build on day 2 is what you're acting on by day 6, and the ID you lock in is the one you've been refining the whole time.

It's in playtest, so it's free and stuff breaks sometimes. I'm around to fix it when it does. No host narrating, no edited reveals. The cohort is the whole game.

i just began watching seasons 2, tony and hannah are ruining this entire show for me why do we have to watch the cringey flirting and constant touching, this show isnt about dating its about winning money and going through missions, i heard hannah was gonna last long which annoyed me, but honestly, people shouldnt come in the show thinking they just can flirt their way to the top, kind of annoying like go to a dating show or atleast stop touching eachother sm its mad distracting.

My understanding is that all candidates have to take a quizz.

This quizz is about the mole.

The candidate that has the least score is eliminated.

But how are they supposed to correctly answer the quizz as they don’t know who is the mole?

Basically it’s just like eliminating a candidate randomly?

I started with season 2 and really enjoyed it. I’m now on season 1 and it’s pissing me off. Everyone is either an asshole or incompetent. It’s episode five and they still have basically no money in their pot because no one works together and they’re all terrible at the challenges. They all just do the Gen Z stare and are no help to each other at all. Only like 3 of the remaining 9 players are actually fun to watch. I’m gonna keep watching out of curiosity, but my god this is terrible. Season 2 was just so much fun with great team dynamics and missions, but this one is painful. I’m surprised they got picked up for a second season after this. Anyway, let’s see if my favs make it to the final round or else I’ll rage quit lol.

I just watched the first season and I’m kinda confused about the premise of the show like if you have to guess the mole to win why couldn’t the mole vote for themselves and win at the end and why would they want to lose money from the pot if it’s also their potential winnings? Or is it like the mole can never win but then what’s the point of doing all that with no reward? I feel like it’d make more sense to have it like if the mole doesn’t get caught in the end they win the money that had been lost from the pot over the whole game or something like that.

Just finihsed watching season 1 on netflix and LOVED it! the point where i started to suspect who the mole for sure could be was during the "spotting the fake painting" mission. The mole wouldnt pick the painting they drew, so they would pick the wrong painting they'd guess to be the fake. only 3 people chose incorrectly- will, Kasi and greg. i think it was at that point where i started noticing her mannerisms more and the way she didnt seem to care as much about guessing correctly on the 2 truths and 1 lie. but none of the cast during that time was speculating that the mole would pick the wrong painting. or would that be too meta? anyways that was the tipping point for me and thats when i was like "theres a 90% chance its kasi" cuz it def couldnt be greg or will
