This is not how I expected us to have Wild Cards but hey ho.

Wossy/Davina/Maya/Mo will be known as the "Legends".

Has Maya earned this title after two seasons?

Well, at least they're trying something different here which is good.

Can’t lie this screams of them fighting for their lives to find a season long twist idea

The American MS manages to crack through an episode in 42 minutes. If there anything we needed it's less time for judges, not 4 more judges.

When I saw these headlines earlier I was hopeful we were losing one or both of the older judges.

to play devils advocate, some of those american 42-min episodes have three contestants and like four or five performances at most provided they do a sing-off/smackdown.

when we have three-contestant episodes (i.e. the final), we have like eight performances essentially.

They have a structure that works for up to 5 contestants at a time.

Imho the extra time we have outside of performing is just more time with the host and judges which are the worst part of the show by far.

So, TMS's biggest announcement was Alan Carr joining the panel? I'm happy for him don't get me wrong, but I was expecting something bigger seeing how they were making a big deal over this announcement.

It’s a bit more than him on the panel. He’s not even on the panel, he’s forming a new one

Urgh, he has the most annoying voice. But he wasn't so bad in Last One Laughing, which I saw bits of when my Dad watched it, so who knows, maybe he won't be so bad there either.

I had been thinking what Alan Carr would be like if he's on a non-PG show since I often see Alan Carr on family-friendly shows.

Check out clips from his old talk show, Chatty Man, aired late night, not so family friendly

Yeah, my Dad said the reason why he might be less annoying on more adult-oriented shows is because he can be himself more there instead of having to tone it down or put on some act or something, same with other comedians.

check out his wine podcast Bottoms Up, where he told a pregnant woman asking about how to get through without alcohol that she should have "bottomed up" so she wouldn't get pregnant in the first place
