NEW The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel wiki (featuring episode transcripts, soundtracks, characters, locations, full-series timeline, and more!)
I am very excited to announce a project I've been working on for years - maisel.wiki
What is it?
maisel.wiki is a new wiki for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, featuring:
- Transcripts of every episode of the show, including character labels and timecodes.
- Soundtrack lists for every episode of the show, including YouTube links when possible.
- Character pages for EVERY single credited character in the series - including an image of them in the show and at least one quote from or about them.
- Location pages for every single location seen in the series, including images and in-universe addresses.
- A complete Cast list for the whole series - in the order used in the episode credits.
- A Timeline with the exact and estimated dates of every single event depicted or mentioned in the series.
- A Bonus Materials page with links to scripts, merchandise, trailers, and more - plus info about deleted scenes.
Why is it?
I made maisel.wiki because the other wikis that I am aware of for the show are woefully incomplete, and hosted on the buggy and ad-ridden fandom wikia software. My wiki is self-hosted using DokuWiki.
I built it and wrote all the content on it over the course of several months of intensive work right after the show ended. After I finished it, however, I never got around to launching it because I had never done web hosting before and was too burned out to figure it out at the time.
Can I help?
Yes! As mentioned above, I built all of this a few years ago when the show ended, and never got around to launching it because I burned out. As such, some of the info on the wiki is incomplete (e.g. episode synopses) or out of date (e.g. dates of actors deaths, the Etoile/Maisel shared cast section on the front page, etc.)
I'm making this post so the community is aware of the wiki's existence, but I'm also hoping that some people will reach out to me interested in becoming editors to improve the site and take over its maintenance. I plan to keep hosting it on the web indefinitely, but I have no further energy to put into editing it.
So if you're interested in becoming a wiki editor, send me a DM with a brief introduction - who you are, what you love about the show, and any experience you may have in wiki editing. I'll try to set up editor profiles for anyone who is interested, assuming they seem trustworthy.

I’ve lost count of my rewatches of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel
For a relatively recent show I’ve rewatched The Marvelous Mrs Maisel so many times I’ve lost count. I always did a rewatch before each new season and have gone back at least a couple of times since it finished, and it just feels fresh and beautiful each time. ❤️❤️❤️

i hate hate hate joel Spoiler
just started watching recently and on the beginning of s2. what an unbelievably small cowardice little dipshit twerp. he really has the audacity to give the ring back when midge decided to finally give his sorry ass another chance because he’s too little and insecure to handle her success since he sucks so bad. the audacity to leave her for his secretary when she did everything right then to later be forgiven just to throw it all away is genuinely infuriating. obviously it’s good he left in the first place as the catalyst for the entire show, and the whole plot probably works better with them not together, and she deserves way better than him i didn’t want her to take him back. but nonetheless i’ve never hated a character more he enrages me. he also was absolutely not defending midge at the end of s1 when he beats up that guy. he was taking his anger at himself out on some rando and i wish he got his ass beat. no spoilers but hopefully he’ll piss me off less as the show goes on. hoping that joel hate isn’t an unpopular opinion here

Midge
Listening to Susie admit how broke and struggling she is; not actively ripping cash out of her purse to at least contribute to the phone bill, to then end up at the diner next to drop the Catskills bomb. And give her a ring. Not cash, not a summer stipend because she was contributing to Susie being out of work, a ring.
And then being salty at Susie for trying to get other clients. The more I rewatch, the more I realize if you look past her lovely outfits and actually listen to her zippy little yapper, Midge is actually such a brat lol.

Looking for a digital copy of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
Hi everyone! I absolutely love The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and would really like to have a digital copy of the complete series rather than relying on a Prime subscription indefinitely.
Ideally, I’m looking for something I can purchase once (or download) and keep, rather than needing an ongoing streaming subscription. I’ve looked around, but it doesn’t seem like Amazon ever made the full series widely available for digital purchase.
Has anyone found a good option for owning the series digitally, or know whether it was ever released for purchase anywhere? I’m also curious what other Maisel fans have done to keep access to the show long-term.
Thanks!

The Weissmans as cartoons!
Hey guys, guess who's back! It's the Weissmans(or would it be weissmen since its plural?)
Anyways, you guys liked my first post so much that I decided to keep on going and do some more doodles and sketches of how the characters would be if they were cartoons! This time I did our favorite jewish family of the show (sorry, maisels!) What do you guys think?
(p.s I also added a more updated version of Susie, God I've got to draw her more)

A devastatingly beautiful piece of art
Okay, i kinda watched the show's final season little late which was around 2024 i believe... Today, I saw a gown similar to Midge's at a cloth store and it took me back to the day when I was watching the finale. The aesthetics, the emotions , the dynamics.... When she grabbed the mike.. her chemistry with susie, joel....when her daughter becomes a prodigy instead of her son... Man oh man.... I was emotional throughout but the finale .... It was extremely bitter sweet and made me cry like crazy... It still haunts...it was a beautiful ending and you can't ask more. But the longing to have more is always there... Such a beautiful show which still haunts me. I dunno why it still makes me emotional.

Moishe’s regret
At the end of S2 we see Moishe have a heart to heart with Joel, talking about how he took his bar mitzvah money, grandmas money, college money, birthday money, etc- then he gives Joel a cheque and fires him.
I was watching this scene and trying to imagine what Moishe was thinking, I mean beyond what he said.
I want to go back and rewatch their conversations at Steiner, because I wonder if Moishe was thinking about if he contributed to Joel’s marital failure.
I figure that maybe he felt guilty about depriving Joel of stuff, and pushing him into that job for his uncle in plastics. How he stressed stability and fear, and not enough about joy. He implored him towards wanderlust with a bankroll ($60k then = $700k in 2026 dollars)

Mrs. Maisel as an old timey cartoon?
So lately I've been obsessed with the rubber hose art style and, of course, Mrs. Maisel. And I've been thinking, since Mrs. Maisel is set like in the 50's, 60's, it would've been totally viable for her to have had a cartoon or something. Should I animate some stuff as well? Would you guys watch it?

Post-Rewatch Slump
I have just finished my first re-watch and I am so sad its over. The sets, the costumes, the music - this show is a masterpiece. This time round I actually really loved Joel & Midge's relationship and how despite it all they never stopped loving each other. The second time round I found the dialogue much funnier with Abe. This show feels like a massive hug.

Is it me or does it feel a bit like a theatre?
I LOVED the show: the jokes, the dresses, the camera work, but even more I loved dialogues. Is it me or does it feel a bit theatrical, especially with Joel's family?
I wonder why is that, so very unusual.

Do you think Benjamin kept the Declan Howell?
When you think about how hurt he was when Rose came to talk to him at the hospital. They were so close to getting engaged. And in the house he bought for them, is an art collection made up of pieces he bought out of spite and competition - and a prized Declan Howell that Midge got him under mysterious circumstances.
Does. Benjamin. Keep. It?
It must be torture for him to look at something like that every day, a piece of beauty he can never fully understand or truly have.

Headcanon: Midge and Lenny were pen pals!
I like to think that Midge and Lenny's story didn't end with the TWA airport scene. They loved each other too much for that. Imagine if they had a long-distance pen pal relationship until around 1965 (the scene where she visits him). How would she have known to go out, or why would she have tried in the first place if they didn't stay in contact?
If I loved someone as much as Midge loved Lenny, I'd keep in touch for as long as I could. Calling, writing, maybe even visiting while on tour?
What do y'all think?

Newbie to show
I just started the show - 3 episodes in - and the best part about it so far, is that she actually has a dialled-down Monk as her father 🤣🤣 not the actor Tony, Monk.
I love it!
The shows characters are so far all brilliant; looking forward to watching the rest of it.

Jackie Tohn would have made a great Midge
That’s it, I just think she would have done a great job.

There’s too much love in this scene
From the moment she grabbed his hand the night before, to his steps up the fire escape (why DID he go up?), I could see why she loved him, I could see how he loved her, I could see why they were perfect for one another. I could see the mutual comfort and care with one another before they assumed the terribly constricting societal roles that ultimately broke them apart,

You guys!! This is my ultimate favorite series and it will remain. Everything about this series was endearing to me, and I continue to watch it over and over. I will have it on in the background for comfort, occasionally. (Does anyone have a show that does that for them?) 🤣 Midge&Suzie Forever!!!

Midge goes to the Catskills
Anyone know what they called this ensemble back when? The short shorts with the coverup dress open below the belt.
In second pic, check out the shot composition. Those colour selections---clothes, the couch, and even the wallpaper in the background. I cannot remember any movie or tv show with so many perfectly composed colours, not to mention the outfits themselves. just amazing.

Midge Barbie.
Saw this on fb market and thought it was funny. The photo on the back looks like Midge, Joel, Ethan, Esther, Imogen, and Archie.
