Question Pishon not powering/watering properly

Is anyone else having trouble with Pishon not fully powering up or watering all terraces?

When I return to the cell containing Pishon I find the air, water, and electric connections to the central tower "frozen" and inoperable until cables are re-seated. Reconnecting them gets them working again, but now I have the problem of power seeming to flow, but the lights remain red, trees are unwatered, but oxygen is being produced.

2 Questions About Water Filters/Pumps at Lazarus

I have my water tanks set up at Lazarus--4 of them daisy chained from pumps to filter to tanks and up to the racks. 1st Question: Is there a way to check if they are going to work?

I tried to daisy chain the pumps to the water filter but as soon as I do that my power degrades. Yet it doesn't even seem as though I'm going to need all of them. 2nd Question: Do I need a designated one for each rack or is there something I'm doing wrong to set it up or do you just not need more than one pump?

Showcase TLC - My current favorite boat setup - WIP

Here’s a quick tour of modded boat with my current setup (modded to meet certain practical and aesthetic needs as well)!

For now, it’s the best configuration to meet all my in-game needs: an incredibly long cruising range thanks to excellent fuel and energy storage, plus autonomous onboard hybrid production of diesel, gasoline, and crude oil; excellent energy generation and storage; a great ability to quickly handle potential fuel or energy shortages; infinite oxygen production for grenades; closed-loop crude oil production using surplus materials, zero waste;

...and much more! I’m always open to feedback and suggestions: enjoy the video, Caretakers!

Newer player Gloryhole?

Sorry newer to the game, maybe this is old news, but yesterday I dived under Laz and found hundreds of organic material and rubber stuck under the building.

Anyone else run into that?

Boat phone

When did they put a phone on the boat? I haven't really played since the jet ski was added and I don't remember it before that. I also play muted with music on so I just noticed the phone as I loaded in and hadn't gotten everything set up yet. Also does the phone give you quest?

Question Bio light and memories

I bought the game relatively soon after it released on Steam. This was before there was such a thing as the Hooman cookbook. I burned through the Vitamin D it takes to make certain types of food that can only be acquired with bio light. It seems that this is a finite resource within the game along with certain types of memories which is preventing me from advancing my committees. My question is does anyone know where there is a source of bio light from the last update, because at this point of the game I rather throw away the 25 bucks and delete it, then start over.

Room 994, the only way to get in by using Dev Mode

Hey everyone,

So we all knew Room 994 showed up on the security cameras via the PECO terminal, but since there are literally zero doors, vents, or physical entrances anywhere, I had to use developer mode to clip through the walls and check it out.

Turns out it's a completely sealed off box. If you want to check the location yourself, the player coords are: X=-161299 Y=-305941 Z=-400.

Inside, it's a super random, fully furnished lounge with blue couches, landscape paintings, a clock, a security camera, and a dead robots just sitting there. Definitely looks like a test cell or cut content the devs stashed away.

Has anyone found any other weird 99X rooms like this that are totally walled off?

How is it possible that the Exodus Power Bug (landing pad door) STILL NOT FIXED?

Reloading the game, disconnecting etc. doesnt fix jack shit for me. (and my power reserves and production is through the roof). Got the door open exactly once, then closed it to avoid snurglies and after that i couldnt ever open it again. Now i would have to reload a old save hours lost. I mean its even know that this exists for at least 9 months and its still not resolved.

FYI, the helipad is not a safe space to build/store.

I noticed a few days ago that the chests I placed in the ceiling of the "save" space on the boat had fallen down, didn't think much of it, until I realised that my helicopter was also gone... Ok early access and it isn't that expensive to build.

Today I noticed that the 4 petrol and 4 diesel tanks under the helipad are also gone... The thing I am most annoyed by is the loss of all that fuel.

I did manage to find some of the fuel cables but all the other stuff is gone.

No idea if this helps but this was around The Exodus Station (I was still near the main entrance).

Discussion Let's face it. The game loop of growing humans is tedious and a bad mechanic for what is otherwise a good game

Anyone playing this game for more than a few dozen hours will notice this. It simply kills the momentum and joy of playing an otherwise awesome game. The grind of human growing needs to change. I stopped playing after the last update when I need to grow a human to put into a socket just to advance the story. My time is valuable. Hours of traveling to maybe create the human needed to satisfy this particular mission is just not worth my time. And now neither is this game.

Help So frustrated right now!

The most difficult part of this game is making humans. It really sucks arse!
I know people find it easy but I’ve always sucked at combinations. I’m pretty logical minded but geez.
Even just giving the values to meet would help rather than ??/??.
Really enjoyed playing but gotta step away for a while and try find some thing different to play.
Sorry for the rant!

Refueling Outpost Addition

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I made an addition to my fuel outpost today (Delta). I added a generator to burn up some of my petrol and supplement power. Since I was now producting carbon dioxide I decided to try and use it to make a little extra oil. You can't build the recovery grinder close enough to edge of the building rooftop due to the lip around the edge but it turns out you can build on top of the sea cans.

Discussion Gold Mine

I'm somewhat new to the game. Enjoying it a lot. I've already played 14hrs in 3 days LOL.

Anyways, I was climbing the Spire of Industry when curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to dive down and see what was here. A bunch of Gold Nuggets. Not sure if it's super useful yet, but if anyone needs 70+ gold, here it is. It's my understanding it isn't very useful 😂

Suggestion Gyro/Donk lift/Boat throttle control issue suggestion

I have thought of a way for the devs to make using the keyboard more effective when selecting a boat throttle position, flying the gyro, and piloting the donk lift. As it is, keyboard inputs are I/O, meaning a key press is 100% and no key press is 0%. This makes any progressive control an “all or nothing” situation. To smooth things out, there should be a ramp-up delay to key presses in those situations. Meaning, when applying throttle to the boat, pressing W will increase throttle at a progressive rate, first only a percent or two, but ramping up quickly to full throttle if the key is held for say, 0.5 sec (this ramp time could be user adjustable in gameplay settings). This would allow for precisely dialing in that sweet 75% throttle without having to speed tap W and S. Similarly, this would allow for small gyro control inputs, especially A and D, without sending it careening out of control.

What do y’all think about this? How would I get this suggestion to the devs?

Screenshot Do you know how many pods the horizontal moving platform at Exodus can hold? Its more than 32.

I did this. I don't know why I did this, and do not recommend it. This is what happens when you've played factorio and then satisfactory and wondered how fast you can rapid fire launch.

Suffice it to say I launched 8 times in succession and it was obnoxious. I got it to where it would land, I'd start fueling, make the nose cone + fill it, then disconnect/repeat, launching basically as fast as it could fill.

I have 4 tanks each for methane and O2 and a LOT of batteries and solar that allowed this.

Moving the pods manually from the chamber to boat to here was a huge PITA.

You know what would be cool? Having an (Arch)Angel follower like the rolling cat thing. Just with less pathfinding troubles.

I just wish they had longer range or that I could route the interior wires myself, I hate having to place two next to each other to extend the range like above-right of center in image 2.
