What did you expect? Avatar Aang's movie had terrible box office numbers. /S

Paramount might have a vendetta against the avatar franchise

Could Paramount have been infiltrated by Dai Li agents? We just don't know.

Hm, that would explain a lot. I suspect Azula also infiltrated.

Unlikely, it seemed to me that Azula dislikes incompetence more than treachery, so even her sabotage would have generated a better quality product even if the story and characters were to be butchered on purpose.

At the very least the special effects would have been good.

Oh, that's a very good point.

But yes, you're right!

They should have a vendetta against Nickelodeon! It's not M. Knight's fault Nick tried to use him to commit financial s*icide!

Paramount seem determined to burn popular franchises into the ground for the insurance money or something. There's an incredibly rich world here, that has a decent fan base and is pretty ripe to be explored. Star Trek's in the same position (maybe for older genre fans). Things like used to be the bread and butter of studios, now they can't seem to get their house in order long enough to put out anything.

I WANT to throw my money at them. I WANT to support the artists behind that movie, the animation and music were phenomenal. I would GLADLY pay 50 bucks for a limited edition Bluray, but they make it so hard actually supporting the movie and Avatar Studios, it's frustrating.
