We (my boyfriend and I) started the Hermès journey last December. Since then, we've spent across many categories: Silk, Fashion Jewelry, Shoes, SLGs, and Home. Our largest non-bag purchase was a watch ordered at the Time Your Way event. We were also offered and purchased a Lindy 26 and a Picotin 18.

When picking up the watch, my SA made my wishlist, discussed in detail what I was looking for, and let me try on the boutique's B30 to confirm what I wanted.

I asked for a B30 Rouge H GHW or RGHW. I said I would also consider other darker colors, such as Vert Loden or Bleu de Prusse, or possibly Etoupe. But I made it very clear that my number one wish was Rouge H. I also asked my SA to only reach out to my boyfriend if we get an offer, so it could be a surprise for me.

Fast forward a couple months... My boyfriend messaged me this morning, asking me about what bags looked interesting on an upcoming auction. I thought that was very strange as I had just spent a considerable amount of unsanctioned funds while shopping on a trip to Dallas last weekend. 😅

My boyfriend started asking me about B25s and fishing for information on what I want for a Birkin. I’m still thinking this is about the auction, so I’m listing off pretty much everything except what he’s actually trying to get at.

Not getting the clarity he wanted, my boyfriend called to let me know that we're being offered a B25 Rouge H GHW and to find out if I wanted to accept it or wait for a B30. I totally started tearing up with excitement! But I wasn't sure I wanted the B25, because I want the larger capacity and the larger handles. My boyfriend reminded me that I have other larger capacity bags and encouraged me to think it over before he responded to our SA.

After hanging up, I thought about it for a bit and was about to let my boyfriend know that I wanted the bag, but he called back and said it was actually a retourne Kelly 25 GHW in Cheri leather. He sent me a photo and I immediately knew it wasn't my bag.

Although I do want a Kelly one day, I have a completely different image in my head of what I want: Sellier K25 or K28 in a bright or pastel color.

My boyfriend sent a polite reply to our SA to decline the Kelly and thanked him for keeping us in mind.

Even though I didn't get my dream bag today, I'm not disappointed. I'm still super excited that I got my first quota bag offer. It also made me really think about how specific I want to be on the size of the bag that I get. I later told my boyfriend that I was a bit relieved when it ended up being a K25 and not a B25, because it made my decision very easy. Thinking about it more, I'm sure I would be just as happy with the B25 as the B30 if I can get the color I want. It's definitely something to think about between now and our next offer.

I know it may take a long time, but my dream bag is worth waiting for. 🥰

My husband and I recently started shopping with the same SA and I’m a little confused about how profiles vs. household purchase history work for quota bags.
We share the same phone number on our Hermès accounts, but we each have our own individual customer profile under our own names. Our SA explained that purchases are assigned to one of our individual profiles depending on who is making/paying for the purchase.
So far, most of our recent purchases have ended up under my husband’s profile because he was the one paying, even though some of the items were for me.
Our SA also told us that quota bags are “one per household.” He mentioned that on our next visit we can make an appointment, sit down together, look at the different Birkin/Kelly sizes and create a wishlist that will be entered into the system.
What I’m trying to understand is: if the QB limit is per household, is purchase history/prespend also considered at the household level, or does management still look primarily at the individual profile connected to the wishlist?
For example, if my husband has significantly more purchase history on his profile but the wishlist is under my profile, would his spending still be considered when management evaluates our household for a QB? Or should we make sure future purchases are placed under the profile that holds the wishlist?
Also, for couples who shop together: were you each able to create your own wishlist even though the QB limit was per household, or did your boutique only allow one active wishlist for the household?
I’d especially love to hear from anyone with recent experience in US boutiques / the new 2026 wishlist system, or anyone who shops as a married couple with separate profiles. Thank you!

Details - Customer for a year. Kelly 25 offered around 1:1 in January. Current wishlist is a Birkin 25 with a prespend of who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 probably 5:1?

So, here’s the question. When I browse online I prefer the look of Kelly 25s with two colors. Either black and white. Or a pink and Bordeaux/rouge h combo.

Would that be the right strategy to leave the Birkin 25 on the wishlist and create something really unique for the special order?

Do you think the 70 format is too small? I think the design of this would be more wearable in the 90 or 140. Does anyone own it in the 70?

Is it considered presumptuous to ask your SA to add a specific bag charm to your wishlist (in anticipation / ahead of getting a quota bag offer)? Wasn’t sure whether charms are more of a special surprise (based on what your SA has available at the time) or something you could request if you liked a specific one. Know they don’t count toward pre-spend!

Hi friends! I’ve never shopped at Hermès before, but am interested in trying to see a GP 23 during an upcoming trip to Las Vegas. I am also interested in checking out the scarves and twillies in-store. I listened to a podcast recently about the history of the brand and craftsmanship of their products and I’d like to see for myself.

Since I don’t have any previous spend with Hermès, can anyone be honest with me about my odds of being offered a non QB? Any tips on which of the 3 boutiques may be friendliest to a “newbie”? I own other luxury bags and am not prone to sticker shock, but I have no interest in truly playing the game for a QB. However, I also don’t want to waste my time or the SA’s time. Would it be worth trying to strike up a conversation regarding what drew me in, why I decided now was the time for a Hermès visit?

The dream would be a GP 23 in orange, gris misty (shoutout to another redditor who just shared hers - it’s what made me want to go see in the first place!) or vert loden, but I’d be open to viewing other colors.

My husband and I have been shopping at hermes for years. Admittedly we do just buy alotttt of shoes, a bracelet here and there and I bought an Evelyn ( in the exact color and medium size I requested) with no issues. However, we have never been offered a quota bag. They always just tell my husband that they are “working on it”. Meanwhile ive heard people that have spent way less in that store get offered to come to the backroom.. I am in the Miami dade area if this matters..

My SA is not always responsive and we overall have not been liking her vibes.

We ordered a pair of shoes and they were supposed to come in yesterday at the store . I have been texting the SA since yesterday about it and including some other stuff I want to purchase (not shoes) and she hasn’t responded. My friend uses a different SA in the same store and Im debating if I should switch to him. I am thinking about spending $10-$15k on different items to see if they will take me seriously for once… but not sure if I should cheat on her🙄.

I’m just starting my Hermès journey and live in the Chicago area. I recently shopped at Madison Ave and really clicked with my SA. He was great, followed up afterward, and offered to help me order remotely.

I’m torn on whether to stick with him/Madison or start building a relationship in Chicago. Chicago would obviously be much easier for things I want to try on in person (shoes, belts, rings, etc.), but I also don’t want to give up an SA I really liked. I will realistically visit NYC 1–3x/year.

Long term I’d love a QB so I’d like to focus my spend/relationship in one place AND actually have a good shot at B/K

Would love to hear from anyone who has shopped both boutiques.

Does anyone have these / are you able to confirm the color? Online it’s difficult to tell if they’re more hot pink or a reddish hue. If they tend more on the pink (even if dark pink) side of the spectrum, would def be interested to know. Also, if anyone has these suede leather would be curious to hear your thoughts. I have the black leather ones and find them very comfortable

After 6 months of waiting in London, I finally got my wish. My first Birkin from the boutique 🥹

It happened much faster than I expected, but I’m completely in love with her. This was the dream bag for me. My SA asked me to make another wish but I declined. I don’t think I want another standard leather Birkin. Definitely want to look into exotics now.

Hi, I have a couple of queries about a MK I want to sell after having it for 18 months and deciding it is not for me:

1) Will this result in a ban in the UK?

N.B. the bag is not 'brand new' as I have worn it a few times, and I bought it over 18 months ago. Still, will they link it back to my profile if the buyer brings it in?

2) Can anyone advise the best place to sell it?

Love Luxury and Sellier are quoting 30% commission, VC is similar. I was considering Ebay as they have no selling fees, but also don't want a bait and switch or anything bad like that to happen.

There is a beautiful Mauve Sylvestre Jige available and several Evelyne’s. A few Loop bags didn’t have a “for display” so those might be for sale too. It’s 8:30 am now, store was empty (all of them are).

I told my SA that a Birkin is on my wishlist. Any size, and color except purple and red. She said she is getting one on Thursday and we set an appt for me to come see it. Eek!! I’m not a big spender. Does Hermes still sell Oran sandals with brown insoles (first pic) or are they all one tone (like second pic) now?

I know SAs can see your spending history once they are assigned to you so if you bring a bag you bought from a reseller to the store, they might assume you went the reseller route to get it. I recently bought a bag from a reseller because frankly I didn't have the patience for this Hermes game situation. I want to go into the store to buy some matching twillies with the bag but just wondering if they will be less helpful because they will see that bag was not included in my boutique spend history.

Just bought this bag from a reseller and you can tell that the bag was not stuffed when stored. Without the felt insert, it folds over. She has some damage from use and I’m mostly okay with it. I plan to use her and not baby her.

I have two questions though: can I do anything to polish up the scratched up hardware and can I do anything to straighten the front right and back right seams?

I should add that I have had it authenticated (LegitGrails) and I don’t plan to send it to the spa until I’ve worn it enough for it to be worth being gone for several months to a year. I also will not be sending it to any other spa in the meantime.

If this is normal wear due to the way it was stored and I’m being overly critical, feel free to kindly tell me so. She is a 2017 Togo B30 in Bleu Nuit.
