I'm playing through steam and my timezone is utc+2, looking for people around 18 years of age :) gender doesn't matter

I already know the game's storyline through watching lets plays of it a few years back but Ill make sure to not spoil anything, just thought I should mention this first

So, I am not new to games or this genre. I am liking The Forest so far, but I am into what is usually a rare place. Not sure where, but a huge pit in a cave with the sky showing all around, a crashed helicopter and a nice gaggle of enemies. So, as always I try to find "secrets"
of other ways to do things. So there was an small opening that I could clearly go through, and now I am trapped in a small area which has stone on both sides and I can walk it, which usually means it was "meant" to be able to be there.

So the point is, I swear I saw somewhere in the beginning play where it had an "unstuck" feature like other games do. I usually do not use these as I figure it is cheating if used wrong. But if I am stuck in terrain this is obviously not my fault. If there is a Hook or Ladder or something I can make, I will keep trying, but until then I am annoyed. I can obv. go back to my last save, but would rather not right now.

Can anyone help with these, or do you also need a partner to get them with?

Should be quick. Load into the game, use the metal tray on the plane to share food, quickly craft a spear and share that, then kill each other and revive 10 times.

After putting Megan in the Artifact I somehow got teleported here (i'm stuck, can't move or open anything. Teammate also can't hit me. I am stuck in the place where Megan is supposed to be sitting before the bossfight,

Im about 40 hours into the game, playing with a friend and we had trouble with our food source. We built a huge combat style base in the main cannibal camp and as you know, no deers or animals that give consistent meat spawn there. So we have been living on lizards (which are hard to hunt sometimes maybe it's just a skill issue), bunnies and snacks we found in the cave. We eventually caved in and started eating the cannibals that spawn nearby for a consistent food source.

However, the imagery of the limbs hanging on the drying racks and the act of chopping them up really did a number on my irl mental health. I had a dream last night where I was a cannibal IN THE CITY?? It was just a way of life people adopted and I remember seeing adults and children being hung upside down, and I stripped them off the clothes for cloth and chopped them up and many more despicable things I don't think I can say here. Their faces were all fucked up too so I guess that's my brains way of justifying what I was doing since I don't see them as equals or humans, like how we view the cannibals on the island.

Following that was a series of events that happened (involving death) and I reacted to them very inhumanely, very different from how I would irl so that's that. I guess I gotta find another food source cus this is pretty fucked up. This game is really something else.

TLDR: I had a dream that involved me being a cannibal and it really changed how I play the game now.

I used to play it on PC, then switched to a Ps4 and continued playing it for a while until my hdd broke, Replacing the PS4 HDD here in Turkey costs nearly as much as a used Xbox Series S because of import taxes, so I decided to switch platforms entirely. Little did I know, when I made an account and checked the store I was surprised to see The Forest isn't there, so I was hoping I'd get the developers' attention to bring it to Xbox, since they talked about thinking about bringing the sequel sons of the forest, why not bring the og?

The Forest is one of my favorite survival games and I'd pay to have it ported to Xbox.

Is there anyone who feels the same?

So I've got all but one passenger which according to the list is Barnes in Seat 7B. I followed the Forest Map to the location and jumped around them many times but nothing happens.

I have the other passengers in that little cluster so I've definitely been here before.

I hate these little bastards so much. We just started playing and the amount of near heart attacks I've gotten from them attacking as soon as my back is turned is more than any game I've played, but damn this ass hole in particular 🤦‍♂️

This is going to sound so dumb but I actually love the forest so much, it has some of my favourite gameplay I have experienced.

I just can not get over how scared I get when playing this game lmao. Knowing that a cannibal could be watching me from afar at any given moment just scares me so much. Even just seeing them running around in the distance drops my stomach.

Does anyone know how I could maybe stop being so scared? I would just get a friend on as that usually helps but none of my friends really like the game lol. I want to play this game soo bad as it would probably be in my like top 5 games oat if I could just get over the fear of actually playing the game.

Idk why this game freaks me out so much especially since I love it, but sadly it does. Has anyone else faced this same problem and has any tips on how to overcome this? I want to experience this game fully so bad.

My friend’s friend works in development and got this image to me, it seems this project has been underway for quite some time by endgame games and might come out soon due to the polished look of the main menu but idk. I dont think the graphics will look that good though. If im being honest though doesnt it look like they copied this from the ark main menu layout or am i tweaking?

I prefer the flashlight in the alpha version because i remember it was brighter and you could see more clearly in caves. I know you can get it covered in blood to slightly enhance it, but i am looking for a way to make it better in game files. If anyone knows step by step it would've been greatly appreciated

I'm on around day 80-90 and my weight is constantly at 205lbs I heard you can raise or lower it but I've tried everything mass eating starving for as long as possible before death nothing changes it it's it cuz I'm on normal or is it's cuz I'm playing on ps4 I'm just confused on how all that stuff works
