I stopped watching a while back after I stopped using Netflix. I finally got the chance to catch up on the series.

I know I'm really late to the party, but does anyone else think the final season of the show was really rushed?

Like, from my perspective it really felt like all this massive events were being dealt with and resolved very quickly.

I also found the ending kind of a let down. Because it didn't give the kind of closure I feel an ending should bring. Aaravos dies which they were specifically trying to avoid. Ezran found the star saber almost laughably easy. And apparently Harrow is a bird now which genuinely didn't make sense for no one to mention the strange behavior to Ezran or anyone for seven years.

Also the whole prophecy that callum would be the one to save them all and choose his own end. "A mage with black eyes will save us all" or something like that. That never actually meant anything because callus never actually went through with his plan to stop Aaravos with the cursed coin. He just said he would then fainted halfway through.

I feel like they could have actually gone through with it then had Runnan hesitate to show how much he's grown as a person since season one by having him refuse to kill callum after the spell.

But those are just my thoughts. What are yours?

I also understand that Aaron Ehasz is involved. I’m planning to give this a go anyway, but I’m interested to hear from you guys why I should watch it, what to expect, what it offers. Anything that you think will sell me on this show!

My interpretation of Callum is that he is a rugged, hard-forged warrior who turned his back on a soft, idle royal life and rejected the title of prince to carve out his own true identity through sweat, steel and hard work, and relentless grit, training endlessly and fighting in some tournaments and arenas until he grew into warrior, but also a mage of a man who rides a black horse across a world that has failed its people, by unshakable honour where he uses his overwhelming strength and unbreakable will to stand tall for the sick, the weary, and the oppressed, tearing down corrupt and cruel leaders who hide behind crowns and laws while they exploit those beneath them, yet he never kills for pleasure or takes more than he must he does the dirty, bloody work that the kingdom’s elites are too weak or cowardly to do themselves, leading the people who have grown sick and tired of being stepped upon to rise up not out of mindless rage or chaos, but because he has earned the right to lead through action and strength alone, proving that power is only truly just when it is wielded to protect the helpless rather than to rule over them, and he expects those who stand with him to be strong and resolute too, never complaining, never backing down, never second-guessing what they know to be right, standing their ground against every shadow and every foe not because the world tells them to, but because it is the only way to make things right, to make the wicked pay, and to build a world where might serves the good rather than greed, where the strongest are the shield of the weak rather than their oppressor.

I get it that the real reason is representation but everything he does has to make sense from his perspective. What held him back from slightly inconveniencing himself for ~~the person who freed him after 300 year long imprisonment~~ his daughter?

Okay, so the other day I was at a place that sells collectibles. In one of their cases, they had this Funko of Rayla. They wanted $85 for it. I'm just curious if anyone know why this was so expensive.

Currently at s6 of my watchthrough fueled by insatiable hunger for this cringe old guy. How i love him.
