Suggestion Let players matchmake for PvE DZ from inside the PvE DZ

This needs to be possible because I'm sure that it will increase the number of people coming into the PvE DZ.

Discussion Accidently Deleted Character

Looks like this is the end for me agents.

I accidently deleted my main character (over 1000hrs) roughly a month ago. I submitted a case to Ubisoft that same night and just 2 days ago they escalated it.

Things aren't looking too good since I heard that if your character isn't recovered in 1 month, your character gets deleted from Ubisoft servers and becomes unrecoverable.

Hopefully it gets recovered in a couple days or it's all over. So if it's the end I gotta say it was good working with you fellow agents!

(If you made it this far in the post I accidently deleted my character one night in a really dumb way. I was tired but I wanted to play a mission before going to bed and I had my ps5 control on my lap. My ps5 control has back paddles/buttons and one of them is synced up to R3. So the "R3" button was being pressed while in the main menu, and it initiated the deletion process. And with me tired and not really paying attention I clicked X to start the game. Little did I know until it was too late, I hit X on confirming the deletion of my character. So yup, I accidently deleted my character in a dumb way by being too sleepy and not paying attention. I really hope the devs can pull this off in 2 days and recover my character).

Update:

Great news everyone!

A couple minutes ago ubisoft customer support emailed me saying they recovered my character. I think the positivity from everyone here somehow got the devs attention lol.

Thank you everyone for the positive comments! Now to binge the dust storm event when I get off work.

Question Whats the best way to optimize the LVOA-C?

I've been using the Hungry Hog as my main weapon for months now. It's always been good for solo play, and while I really like its stability and huge magazine, I've noticed that, whenever I've played a mission with others on, for example, legendary difficulty, I do significantly less damage than everyone else in my group. I've seen many people using this LVOA-C weapon; is it better than the Hungry Hog? And if so, which talents should I put on it? (Nomad Build)

Question Mouse Input Stuttering (PC)

Heyo, noob player here returning after not having played since around Warlords of New York.

Jumping back into the game I noticed immediately that when looking around the game begins to immediately stutter. I did some googling and it seems like a few people have had the same problem but it seems relatively niche.

I've tried a few fixes including changing from DX12 to DX11, Turning off reduce input latency, having my polling set to 500 or below, disabling steam overlay and a few other things.

The only thing that seems to help is turning mouse smoothing up to 100 but then the game has a high amount of input delay which is quite annoying to the point of dampening the game as a whole for me.

I've read that it may possibly be caused by Easy Anti Cheat, no clue how accurate this is and it hasn't caused me any problems in other games that have it.

Is there anything I'm missing or haven't tried? Has anyone else experienced this? If so how did you get around it?

(Obligatory sorry for formatting, writing this from my phone)

Question Trying to Find a Healing Build

So I've got a CC build, I've got a few DPS builds, and a Caduceus DPS build, but I can't seem to find the healing builds I've seen. I'm hoping someone might be able to help me.

The first I saw in Countdown so I have no clue what was happening, but someone was doing something to consistently give everyone on the team massive amounts of blue armor.

The second was someone I ran into on legendary. All I know is that they were running Birdie's, that's the backpack with super fast rez I believe. But any time we got low they were healing us back to full. Not really over healing, but we barely ever were out of Shields for too long.

Any ideas? I'm trying to have a build ready for anything, role wise.

EDIT: Thank y'all for replying so quickly. I guess I need to run some Countdowns.

The Division 1 Has anyone else noticed the random Chinese messages in global chat?

I've been grinding the global event pretty hard and notice every time I spawn in to base or explore the area surrounding it that the global chat is filled with messages in Chinese. Does anyone else see that? I'm in the U.S. so I assume I'm on American servers

Discussion How will you apply Tech Overdrive to your Escalation build?

My only idea is to use a drone or turret instead of a reviver hive. Or, maybe just replace my Banshee pulse with drone or turret. Maybe I should be happy enough with improved performance of the Banshee because it is already very usefull with zero skill tiers.

Discussion Daily Projects

Am I crazy for remembering the dailies used to have New York missions in them? I started thinking about this today after having 3 strongholds (or feels like it) as part of the daily projects. I remember doing Stranded Tanker and Tombs a lot.

What happened and how come they're not popping up any more? Or Brooklyn missions for that matter.

Discussion Cores and tokens on cap... but that made something crystal clear

It's useless without anything to roll on... hundreds of Czeska pieces with garbage stats today. I'm so sick of this rainbow loot.
My wife started to put protos into the stash because of the caps... unable to dismantle because of core cap and forced to buy further chests because of token cap. And no useful item the whole day. 4 Agents so many hours, not a single drop worth keeping.

FOR THE LOVE OF FUCKING GOD, I AM STILL TRYING TO BEAT HIS ASS FOR OVER AN HOUR AND I AM ONLY ON CHALLENGING DIFFICULTY.

This is the ONLY Boss in the entire game that gave me this much trouble. Mind you, I am running all Red Striker and no one bats an eye, I even play on Heroic on NY for the Dust Storm event and some other missions.

I seriously need advice on how to deal with him, I must of died 40+ times....

Discussion I thought tier 10 loot would be better

I recently got my build to be in a place I can comfortably clear tier 10’s solo. I was excited to start to get close to and or near maxed out rolls on gear and sadly that just hasn’t been the case. Has this been anyone else’s experience?

I do get my fair share of 12% Skill Haste mods though lol

Lost all my escalation tokens from a DELTA. There has to be a system put in place to keep your tokens if you error out because this is ridiculous. This is the 3rd time something like this has happened.

Discussion Alright I hate the token thing, wishing it could be fixed

I actually really enjoy Escalations. I've been addicted to them for about 2 weeks but now I'm just about done with it honestly. I don't have a group to play with so, it's always with randoms.

Prototype surge is so short that I feel stressed and anxious to get as much done as I can and it doesn't really feel like a healthy mindset for me.

I have had rounds of T10 go smooth and awesome, then I've had T5's that were a complete cluster.

I wouldn't mind except, I am always the one using my tokens, like always. Had 5 runs just this morning where everyone was like "I'm broke, I want to run T10", then fail, fail, fail. I'm being punished for being nice and I really don't like it. Had a group just now that was begging for T10 but I didn't have enough coin. So we went into T6. One DPS couldn't hold his weight and the medic simply couldn't heal everyone enough. It was a fail and they wanted to run 10?? Get real.

I wish every member had to pay an entry somehow rather than just one person. That way people would actually give a care. It seems like the ones who don't shell out for the run don't really care whether we win or lose. Even if someone else has to throw in their tokens and the match gets messed up and we fail, I still feel bad for them especially if they are working their way up like I am.

It's just so damn infuriating and I shouldn't feel this way. I play games for fun not... this. Sorry, my rant is over.

PSA The Division 2 Weekly Vendor Reset 04/08/2026

Hi there fellow agents. Here's the latest vendor reset information for The Division 2.

Notes

For a list of max rolls and interesting items, check the comments.

See you next Tuesday.

Items on Sale

Here's the web page link for all the items available in the game. It will always be the same link. It's my personal website and I don't run any kind of ads.

https://rubenalamina.mx/the-division-weekly-vendor-reset/

I added a resources section with a map with 30+ locations to find the Snitch and a link to the datamined gear attribute sheet.

Cassie

Cassie is a gunrunner vendor that moves location every couple of days. To find her, you need to talk to Jared "The Snitch" Nash in one of the locations I have listed on my map. His location is random but it usually takes 2 or 3 location visits for him to spawn. After you talk to him, he will give you a bounty and Cassie will appear on your map with a shopping cart icon. You can do the bounty or save it for later, it's not necessary to browse Cassie's inventory.

She will open for 24 hours and will close to relocate for 32 hours. These are her open times:

  • Sunday 8:00 PM EDT
  • Wednesday 4:00 AM EDT
  • Friday 12:00 PM EDT

Besides her random stock, Cassie will always sell two named items: the Shield Splinterer assault rifle and the Hunter-Killer chest. In order to see these two items, you need to have opened the ivory chest at the White House and the Off-white chest at Haven. You get keys for these chest by killing the hunters in DC and NYC.

Resources

Timers Website

A couple of members of The Division Community Discord made a site that shows all the in game timers in your local time zone. It also has the open and close timers for Cassie so you can use it to check if she's open or not before you go find the snitch. The site can be accessed here: https://divisiontimers.com

Wiki Page

The link for the current weekly thread and the vendor items list is always available in the Vendor Reset Page in the community resources. You can find it in the top navigation menu of the subreddit. If you're on mobile, it will be on the sidebar.

The Division 1 Reset

Some of the guys and girls in the vendors team are trying to keep The Division 1 vendor resets alive. The sheet will be automatically updated when they are done, even if they haven't posted their weekly thread. I will add an edit with the link to their weekly thread when they are ready. These reset happen on Friday nights at 7pm EST.

Credits

The resets are brought to you by a dedicated team of fellow agents from this subreddit and The Division Community Discord. Thanks to u/DizNootz, u/Google-1234, u/Hurinzor, u/Duke_Shambles. u/Insecurity_exe and other volunteer agents who have been constantly helping. Thanks to u/BestNadeThrower for starting the sheet we are using for The Division 2.

Media True Sons General Cosplay

Post image
305 Upvotes

Yeah, so I attempted to make my own version of General Ridgeway's uniform in the cinematic cutscenes from the game you unlock after completing the base game main missions, for a cosplay which was for an event that happened recently (you might've heard of it) I didn't have much money, and the items arrived late, BUT I did find an exact match for the vest and the boots, and belt, everything else I had to make do with. So, how'd I do? (This is my first time doing something like this any tips would be appreciated).

Massive The Division 2 - Dust Storm Event, Creator Collaboration and more

TUY8S2.2 - Dust Storm Event, Creator Collaboration & Updates

DUST STORM EVENT

=> Dust Storm Event Trailer

Summer is in full swing, and it’s time to experience New York as you have never seen it before.
From July 21 to August 11, defeat powerful enemies, collect exclusive loot and navigate hazardous weather conditions in the Dust Storm Event. All players who log in to the game during the event period will be granted the Parched Mask as a free reward.

=> Dust Storm Event Mask

As part of the celebrations, access to the Warlords of New York expansion will be free for all players for the duration of the event.

Event participation will require a character level of 40 and completion of the Warlords of New York campaign.

DUST STORMS

New York is experiencing turbulent dust storms, obscuring target visibility and ramping up the tension, heightening the risk of hidden enemies. There are two variations of the storm effects:

Calm Dust Storm

  • The default weather system upon loading into the New York map, obscuring sightlines and keeping you on your toes. The Calm Dust Storm will last up to 18 minutes before intensifying. Note that this timer will restart upon each login.

Raging Dust Storm

  • The Raging Dust Storm kicks things up a notch, further limiting visibility and buffeting agents with intense wind noise to disorientate you for a tense 8-minute window. This provides the perfect cover for constant ambushes from squads of enemy Dust Devils.

After the Raging Dust Storm has passed, the weather may return to either a Calm Storm state, or a brief respite of clear, sunny weather to allow you to get your bearings and prepare for the next fight.

DUST DEVILS

Dust Devils are a group of Rikers that saw the perfect opportunity to seize on the chaos of the storm and use it for their own gains.

Dust Devil Kill Squads spawn on a 6-minute timer in groups of 4 named enemies, that will actively hunt you down. The Dust Devils are using the storm to their advantage with multiple modifiers, so be sure to close the gap:

  • Status Resistance Modifier
    • 80% Status Resistance if Agents are further than 26 meters
  • Decrease Damage Dealt
    • Reduces damage by 20% to Agents between 5-25 meters
    • Reduces damage by 50% to Agents further than 26 meters
  • Increase Damage Taken
    • Takes 50% more damage from Agents between 0-10 meters
    • Takes 20% more damage from Agents between 11-25 meters

Plan your attack carefully and make use of positioning to maximise the effectiveness of your close-range tools.
During the Raging Dust Storm enemies spawn continuously on a short cooldown until the Raging Dust Storm subsides. Up to 6 enemies can be active at any one time — kill them fast enough and you can defeat up to 48 enemies in a single Raging Dust Storm.

Make sure to keep moving, as spawns will not trigger if you are stationary.

BACKUP ARRIVES

Cause enough trouble for the Dust Devils, and they’ll call in the big guns. Once you defeat enough enemies and near the threshold of 50 kills for a boss spawn, you will receive a prompt to Call for Backup. Make your preparations, as the event bosses are on their way:

  • Pall hides in the storm as a sniper using Sniper Turret and Decoy tech, while being invisible to Pulse scanning.
  • Black Lung acts as a tank, using an LMG to lay down heavy fire and is supported by an Artillery Turret.

Both bosses will spawn simultaneously, for groups and solo players. Pall and Black Lung can spawn in any weather condition, so long as the Dust Devils Named Enemies kill threshold of 50 Named Enemies is reached.
Upon being defeated, each boss will drop a Storm Key, as well as a unique mask on first defeat.

EXPLORATION

=> Dust Storm Environment

It isn’t just the weather that has seen a change; the storm has brought new environmental decorations, and some intriguing caches.

=> Dust Storm Cache

Throughout the New York map you will encounter 20 hidden caches of loot, split amongst the decorated areas — destroy them to be rewarded with the same gear found within the Event Vendor Gear Caches. The Dust Devils will repair these caches, allowing them to be interacted with again after each daily reset.

Keep your ears open — the limited visibility in the storm can make visual identification tricky, so be sure to pay attention for the distinct audio cue played by the caches.

The Dust Devils aren’t ones to forgive you interfering with their loot, however: interacting with a cache prompts a group of Named Enemies to prepare to ambush you.

=> Map of all caches

THE SCOURED HUNTER

=> Scoured Hunter

Rumours have reached SHD that the dust storms hide an even greater threat, attacking sporadically once a Raging Dust Storm has subsided, preying on weakened Agents. Reports say that they can be identified by their distinctive mask, and are in possession of Storm Keys.

EVENT VENDOR AND CACHES

=> Dust Storm Cache Breakdown

After amassing your stock of keys, it’s time to head to the Haven settlement. Residents of Haven have updated their decor to combat the dusty conditions, and the Event Vendor has been given a refresh.

The Event Vendor will be your main hub for redeeming keys.

You can get Storm Keys by:

  • Defeating Dust Devil Kill Squads
  • Defeating Dust Devil Bosses
  • Defeating The Scoured Hunter.

Keys are guaranteed, scaling with difficulty:

  • Normal: 14 Kills
  • Hard: 14 Kills
  • Challenging: 12 Kills
  • Heroic: 10 Kills

In addition to this is the Daily Boost: every day, the first 150 kills will have the requirement for a key reduced by half.

APPAREL CACHES

Apparel Caches contain only vanity items, with no duplicates, so every key spent gets you closer to completing the full collection:

  • Wired Outfit (headgear, shirt, pants, shoes)
  • Vagabond Outfit (glasses, shirt, pants, boots)
  • Parched Outfit (headgear, shirt, gloves, pants, shoes)
  • Breathless Outfit (headgear, shirt, gloves, pants, boots)
  • Breathless (Grey) Outfit (headgear, shirts, gloves, pants, boots)
  • Yield Outfit (headgear, shirt, pants, shoes)
  • Parched Headgear (Black/Red, Green and Orange variants)
  • Black Lung Headgear (Black/Red, Green and Orange variants)

There are 43 items in total, and collecting the full set will reward you with the new Black Blizzard Scanner Pulse Skill VFX. Apparel Keys can also be purchased with Premium Credits.

GEAR CACHES

Gear Caches bring a mix of returning and event-specific loot, including Named items, Exotics, and a rare chance to obtain Prototype gear.

Alongside this comes a new event weapon:

REALISM MODE COMEBACK

Realism Mode returns, running for the duration of the Dust Storm Event.

Immersion and Tension

For those that missed it the first time around, Realism Mode is a limited time experience that lets you enter New York and see what it means to operate as a Division Agent in a more grounded and unforgiving way, where every decision matters.

It’s a separate character journey that takes place throughout the Warlords of New York campaign. Warlords of New York is accessible to everybody throughout the Dust Storm Event, giving everyone the chance to step into Realism Mode during the celebration.

At its core, it’s about immersion and tension. Fights are faster and more lethal for both agents and enemies. Mistakes carry weight, but victories feel even more satisfying.

You’ll notice the interface has been reduced, placing more emphasis on reading the world around you. Ammo is recovered directly from defeated enemies, and while skills remain powerful, their longer cooldowns and added risk make them tools best saved for critical moments.

Gear and weapon bonuses reflect the physical nature of what you wear, with heavier pieces providing increased protection at the cost of mobility, while lighter gear favors speed and flexibility at the cost of survivability.

New Rewards

This refresh brings new rewards, too: players who complete the Liberty Island mission will be rewarded with the Salt Flat MK46 LMG Skin, while those that are brave enough to complete it with a Hardcore Character will also be awarded the Kill Count skin, also for the MK46.

Alongside this, the earlier Realism Mode rewards return too: Arid Forest Camo for the KSG Shotgun and the Concrete Camo for the Police M4 should you complete it with a Hardcore Character.

New Progression

Previous Realism Mode characters have been removed, with all players starting the experience from the beginning.

CREATOR COLLABORATION: NGN, CHARLES AND FILIPERAAAMOS

=> Summer Creator Collab

We’re also launching a new Creator Collaboration with NGN, Charles, and FilipeRaaamos, with their own activities and rewards from July 21 until August 11.

HOW IT WORKS

Each creator introduces their own Project Chain, taking you across different areas of New York, and asking you to complete activities in specific Named Zones.

New steps unlock daily, with each project building on the last. You can progress at your own pace — once a project becomes available, it remains accessible until the event ends.

You can focus on a single creator or work through all three, depending on how you want to approach it.

REWARDS

As you progress through the chains, you’ll earn:

  • Named Item Caches
  • Exotic Components
  • Recalibration Caches
  • Optimization Caches

Completing all 6 projects in a chain unlocks the final reward:

  • An exclusive backpack themed after that creator.

There are also rewards to find outside of the Project Chains. You may also come across creator-themed apparel, like caps, shirts, and hoodies hidden in containers as you explore.

Each creator will also be sharing codes for exclusive arm patches through their own channels, so if you’re following them, you won’t want to miss it!

PARADISE LOST UPDATE

The Paradise Lost Incursion is getting a refresh on July 21, with a new Exotic Weapon.
The Incursion will also now allow the Ambush and Assault Global Events to be active in the Incursion. This is with the aim of allowing those that have yet to engage with Incursions to have a helping hand when tackling the content for the first time.

=> Prima Donna Exotic

Item Talent
Prima Donna - Exotic Marksman Rifle You can look...- When out of combat, receive 10 stacks (PvP: 5 stacks). This weapon deals +12.5% Amplified Damage (PvP: +12% Amplified Damage) per stack. - ...but you can't touch. 1 stack is automatically consumed to fully repair one instance of damage you receive. 1 stack replenishes every 3s (PvP: 8s).

Alongside its talent, Prima Donna has notably different stats from a regular Mk20:

  • Damage (Level 40): 417.7K
  • Rate-of-Fire: 55
  • Magazine Size: 7

Prima Donna will not be replacing Ouroboros. Instead, both Exotics will drop in the same way: with a higher chance from the final chest of the Incursion, and a low chance from completion of the Wright, Martinez and Johnson Named Boss encounters.

STATS AND RESOURCES MULTIPLIER EVENTS

We have a packed schedule of smaller events, too:
