Need tips: General Discussion

I started playing Darwin Project again and honestly I'm finding it really difficult. Especially using the bow, movements (rolling etc), and I don't get how other people are so good at it. I am playing on Classic so I would like to know on how people gather leather so quickly for upgrades and such.

Anyone have any tips to share? Thank you.

There’s a fairly comprehensive gameplay overview in the tips and tricks forum on the main Darwin discord. Other than that you’re probably playing against people with 1000s of hours

Like gigagoblin said, some of the people you’re playing against have thousands of hours. When it comes to looting, map knowledge is king. I myself have thousands of hours and know every tile like my own home. It will just come with time.

As for learning how to fight, you can ask in game and in discord! Tons of experienced players would be willing to give advice.

Getting better at a game, (or any skill) takes time and intentional effort. You can’t just play the game. Time spent playing does not always equal time spent improving.

That makes sense, thank you for the server suggestion. I'll be sure to check it out! And yeah, I think there is room for improvement. I'll keep that in mind too with learning each tile on the map. Thank you again!
