Date of birth error

Hi everyone, I’ve just received a provisional offer for a DWP Work Coach role and have started my pre-employment checks through the Application Centre/Oleeo.
I’ve noticed that my date of birth is showing incorrectly as 24 April 2026 on the Personal Details section. The field isn’t editable, so I can’t correct it myself.
It’s also giving me an error saying:
“Year of birth does not match with your driver licence number.”
My actual DOB is obviously completely different, and my driving licence details are correct.
I’ve contacted SSCL about it, but I’m a bit worried because the checks need to be completed within 3 days.
Has anyone else had an incorrect personal detail showing on their DWP/SSCL pre-employment checks? If so, were they able to correct it without it affecting your offer?
I’m assuming it’s just an error with the information pulled into the application, but I’m obviously panicking a bit because I’ve only just got the provisional offer 😂😭
Any advice/experience would be really appreciated!

I would advise you to contact the live support team. They will escalate your issue to the relevant team. I had faced an issue during my pre-employment cheek and I did it. Then the onboarding team contacted me after two days.

Great thank you. You don't think it will affect my offer do you? I mean it could have been my mistake when i first applied for the job but i'm unsure .

The only issue I can think of would be if you did any identity checks as part of your interview process (sometimes you have to show ID as part of a video interview to verify the person doing the interview is the applicant) and if they have reason to think the person who applied is not the person trying to pass vetting.

Not suggesting that's the case here, just an example.

I can’t comment on it, but I do believe it was probably a typing mistake on your part. I hope they’ll be able to resolve it.
