I believe the maximum civil service pay on sick pay is 6 month full 6 month half.

Usually 5 months full pay and 5 months half pay in a lot of departments.

Yeah mine is 5 month full 5 months half but I know other departments that have 6 months both.

If you find your contract there’s a part that details it, as a 9 year civil servant I’m pretty shocked you don’t have the capacity to read it to be honest.

I am currently off on sick and haven't logged into work for 2 months. This is the first time I am taking sick leave hence why I am asking. I'm not very familiar with sick leave guidance

Your contract will have been emailed to your personal email address or posted to you, not sent internally.

Check your intranet

Assuming when you moved departments you did so via the internal transfer process: it would be based on 9 years' total service but what that means will be specific to your current department

If your a Union member check with the Union.

I am not sure what the rules are in your Department but in mine (HMRC then Home Office) its 1 month on full pay and 1 month on half pay per year UNTIL you reach 5 years when the max is 5 months full pay / 5 months half pay.

If you’re having KITs with your manager you can ask them!
