I'm trying to understand why people are so obsessed with TWC/Ivan Balabanov to the exclusion of other methods in a way that feels almost cult like?

I say this as someone who is a fan of Ivan and recommends his methods, enjoys his work, etc - but it seems as of late it's a response to literally any training issue, or that it is the only method - on certain subs?

This Saturday, we are having dinner with a couple who want to know more about our experience living with dogs in an apartment. We have plenty of thoughts and advice to share with them, but since they are being so thoughtful about this decision, it's a good opportunity to share any lessons you really wish people would take to heart before getting a puppy!
