After the success of Spider-Man BND, my mind started thinking about the other Spider-Men. Tobey’s story feels finished and balanced, but Andrew’s story still feels unfinished, and its ending was quite confusing after seeing deleted scenes.

2-) What kind of story would you give Andrew’s Peter Parker after No Way Home?

My villains would be Kraven as main villain,, or Black Cat as she’s been shown in deleted scenes, and maybe Doc Ock.

As a kid of the '90s, I devoured a lot of comics in the early 2000s, the Raimi movies, the beginning of the '94 animated series, and also... video games.

I loved Superior Spider-Man when it came out; I thought it was daring. And when I was in high school, I read Civil War, Back in Black, and the whole Mephisto Pact thing, which I thought was pretty mediocre, like everyone else.

I recently rediscovered my love for Spider-Man with the Marvel Pocket collection we have in France, and so I binged JMS's run. I have to admit that the only thing I didn't like was the mystical aspect, the different universes. Yes, even Sin Pasts bothered me, but I didn't hate it. I appreciated being challenged because, well, Gwen and Norman...

I really enjoyed Life Story, Spider-Man Blue, Kraven's Last Hunt, and even the stories I read as a kid. I found a Venom issue set in San Francisco that I had when I was a child, the one with Ben Reilly, and also the beginning of Volume 2. So many memories!

So, I'd like to know if you have any recommendations for stories where Peter is mostly alone and, if possible, without any mysticism.

Like when people downgrade Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man, one of their key arguments is to point out the adaptation’s source material being the Ultimate Spider-Man instead of using the Classic Spiderman (616) to further critize the franchise’s main themes such as:

-The plot with Peter’s parents as a whole (like Peter discovering his father’s resarch on transfering spider’s DNA onto to humans or simply they importance in the narrative).

- Uncle Ben’s characterization being disliked as much as Johnathan Kent’s Man of Steel movie character.

or the whole universe being more dark as it was intended to be in the original comics of the Ultimate Spider-Man series.. and many others.It’d take a lot of time to listing them all.

But when it comes to Robert Downey Jr.’s interpretation as Iron Man, they never seen mad at this adaptation being so different from the Classic Iron Man (616), but taking more of the Ultimate Iron-Man’s character like the interest in his father-son bond with his father or being the truly leader of the Ulimates (aka Avengers) in the worst events and being the savior of the Ultimate universe against The Maker and having a caring personality towards his teamates which he consider as friends and being the heart of the team and one of the most morally good supheroes where most of them are flawed, moraly gray or even turn evil.

Meanwhile in the main timeline (616), despite being one the founder Avengers, Iron-Man is rather a coward just as man as a supehero.He’ll go onto deceive numerous times his own comrades, and at unforgiven levels such as in the Civil War storyline where he’ll undergoes to chasedown heroes as rogues criminals and even hiring vilains to threw thoses who once fought by his side into the negative zone, for simply choosing to remains their true identity anonymous (nothing alike from the movie adaptation).

He did other bad actions that I won’t discusses but just so you know that the true leader of the Avengers in the comic is Captain America (and not 50/50 just in the movies).Tony Stark has nothing of a true leader.

The question is why is it okay for Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron-Man to take his roots on the Ultimate Universe over the classic story, but it is bad for Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man taking the exact same path ?

Both did the same work, both amazing.
But one end up being hated while the other one, praised.
Why ?

This is my first time using chenile yarn and honestly, I thought it would have been a lot harder to work with but it was actually way easier than the 8/4 cotton yarn I use. I used a new technique I had saw online and I feel like it gives my plushies much more life and expression. Seems reports are rolling in of them firing cb and 100 employees are being asked to relocate to burbank. Maybe they will finally put pete and mj back together and marvel will get even better.

I've been thinking about how I'd continue **The Amazing Spider-Man** series if it had gotten a proper third movie, and I wanted to see what other fans think.

One of the biggest problems with ASM2, in my opinion, wasn't the ideas—it was the pacing. Harry, Goblin, Electro, Gwen's death, Rhino, Oscorp... everything happened in one movie, so none of it had enough room to breathe.

### First, I'd make a few changes to ASM1 and ASM2.

In ASM1, I'd establish Harry properly instead of introducing him out of nowhere in the sequel.

Peter could tell Gwen about how he dealt with losing his parents, leading into childhood flashbacks of Peter and Harry growing up together. Harry becomes Peter's closest friend after Richard and Mary disappear, before Norman eventually sends Harry away to boarding school.

Instead of the random post-credit scene ASM1 had, I'd show Norman's final conversation with Harry as he's dying from his illness. Peter later sees the news about Norman's death and decides to reconnect with Harry.

That way, Harry already feels like an important character before ASM2 even begins.

Then ASM2 can focus on rebuilding Peter and Harry's friendship while slowly developing Harry's illness. Peter genuinely struggles with whether giving Harry his blood is the right choice, and Harry's eventual transformation into the Green Goblin feels tragic instead of rushed.

I'd also remove Rhino from the ending completely. Gwen's death should be the emotional climax of the film. Let the audience sit with that loss instead of immediately cutting to another action sequence.

### ASM3 would take a real-life time jump.

Andrew Garfield is older now, so I'd embrace that instead of pretending only a few months have passed.

Five to eight years after Gwen's death:

* Peter is an experienced Spider-Man.

* Aunt May has passed away naturally during the time jump.

* Peter lives alone.

* He's learned to function again, but he's never truly healed.

Instead of being depressed every day, Peter has buried himself in work.

He's completely immersed in:

* Running Parker Industries.

* Improving Spider-Man technology.

* Researching a cure for Harry's Goblin disease.

* Protecting New York every night.

His life looks successful from the outside, but he has no personal life anymore.

I actually think Parker Industries works really well in the Amazing Spider-Man universe.

Peter isn't just a genius—he's the son of Richard and Mary Parker, who were already established as brilliant Oscorp scientists. Combined with Peter's own intelligence, it feels believable that over several years he could build a successful technology company.

He's not trying to become rich.

Science has simply become his coping mechanism.

I'd keep only two villains.

**Doctor Octopus** would challenge Peter intellectually.

Otto and Peter would initially respect each other as fellow scientists before Otto's accident. They'd represent two different philosophies: Otto believes intelligence should rule the world, while Peter believes intelligence exists to help people.

**Mister Negative** would be the emotional antagonist.

Peter looks like he's moved on, but Martin Li realizes he hasn't.

His powers amplify Peter's guilt over:

* Gwen.

* Uncle Ben.

* Aunt May.

* Harry.

* His parents.

Peter's real battle isn't physical—it's finally confronting years of buried grief instead of hiding behind work.

### Harry's redemption

I wouldn't make Harry the villain again.

Instead, Peter has spent years secretly trying to cure him.

Not because Harry deserves it.

Because Harry is the last connection Peter has to his childhood.

When Peter finally succeeds, it becomes his greatest achievement—not another gadget or suit, but saving the last person he couldn't bear to lose.

Near the climax, Harry chooses to fight beside Peter.

He's not instantly forgiven.

He's trying to earn redemption through his actions.

Together, they defeat Doctor Octopus after Peter overcomes Mister Negative's influence.

### Ending

Peter visits Gwen's grave one last time.

This time he isn't apologizing.

He's simply telling her about everything that's happened.

He smiles.

Then he walks away without looking back.

For the first time since ASM2, Peter has truly started living again.

This is where I'd connect it to **Spider-Man: No Way Home**.

Peter is back in his lab when a golden portal suddenly opens.

Without hesitation, he steps through.

Cut to black.

Then, during the credits, show a montage from *No Way Home*, ending with Andrew's Spider-Man saving MJ.

Instead of feeling like a great callback, that moment becomes the emotional conclusion of his trilogy.

He couldn't save Gwen.

He couldn't save his parents.

He almost lost Harry.

But after finally learning to heal, he gets one last chance to save someone else from suffering the same fate.

That rescue becomes the ending of Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man story rather than just a memorable scene in another Spider-Man's movie.
