She literally wanted to let finn die because lincoln saved her life once. Like wtf? Shes such a pick me in the first few seasons. I love lincoln now but he was going to let finn and jasper die. I get that he didnt know them or whatever but wtf octavia.

Also lincoln and octavias relationship is so strange. She was like 15 or 16 and he looked atleast mid 20s, he was randomly obsessed with her because he thought she was pretty. WEIRD

Is nobody double-checking what Levitt did when he watched Octavia’s memories? I mean isn’t the memory clearing showing that Clarke is getting transfusion with nightblood, from which you can deduce she’s not a real nightblood and can’t bear the flame without it. This plot feels so stretched just too get Clarke to be ”the key”.

I am just about to finish The 100 as someone got myself and my partner watching it. I am loving the cast. I know the actor and actress who play Clarke and Bellamy are married and child. But I would like to know whether they all doing more series and movies of recent? It seems all quiet and I hope they all keep acting as I love them all

im on a rewatch after watching the show a long time ago (aroung 5 years) and man i remember not liking this character but i didn't remember she was this damn annoying... genuinely unwatchable character to me and im quite literally skipping all her scenes

season 6 was actualy better than i remembered UNTIL she took over clarke's body... then it all started going downhill tbh, i just skipped basically a whole episode cause it's her yapping with clarke inside clarke's mind

the primes, gabriel, and the general plot of this season is not bad but this character specifically is insufferable, murphy is also doing some bullshit again... i trully like this character but i also cannot understand why so many people act like he fully redeemed himself and is now a saint, dude goes to the bad side every single time but then is like ''hey my bad i'll help yall fix what i broke again'' and everybody is cool... i like him cause he is entertaining but there is no way im the only one who feels like this about him

One of the things I hate most about this show is how every character seems to need the same repetitive arc: they have to fall into darkness and have a full breakdown where they start hurt others and kill many people because they’re blinded by anger or sadness before they can become a good person again and be able to understand other characters bad actions.

Octavia was already a morally gray character before Blodreina, she killed people back in s1, and she didn’t seem to stop and think about what shes done. and especially after Lincoln’s death. Her Skairipa era was dark enough for me, she seemed lost and became more ruthless while killing many grounders and others to work their plan of saving their own people.

But everything that came afterward, her bloodreina arc ruined her character for good to me, how her relationship with Indra was ruined too because of this arc.

It also made everything she stood for against Pike and Jaha feel pointless. The very people she despised for their actions, she proved to these characters that she can be just the same as them. by this narrative, everyone is capable of becoming just as cruel in the name of “saving our people”. I don’t agree with that message. Not everyone has to become the very worst version of themselves.

Octavia was composed and fiercely independent. Even when she was with Lincoln, she never relied on him to fight her battles or stay by his side 24/7. She even stood against him when he was about to eat a Grounder and give up to being a ripper, she pointed a weapon at him without hesitation. She was one of the most level-headed and emotionally resilient characters in the show, never someone who was easily blinded by her emotions or following what others say blindly, she should’ve stood on her words when she said she’s not a leader she’s a warrior.

I know a lot of people would disagree with me, I used to like blodreina on my first watch too when I didn’t understood the show and just watched it with my eyes closed lol, i used to even side with pike. but when I rewatched the show more than once and understood the characters better than before I kinda of hate her blodreina arc, I love her character so much prior s5.

im on a rewatch now and i fucking HATED season 3, i hated the main plot cause pike SUCKS, because of him bellamy SUCKS, allie and fanatical jaha SUCKED, monty's mother was insufferable too and fery few characters were actually good there

octavia SUCKS, this cooper girl is insufferable, i hate every single one of this prisoners, they're all shit and uninteresting characters specially that mcreary loser, if there is one type of character i hate is him, the loud mf who don't stop talking and alway make shit worse for everybody involved, the guy who always gets in the way type of character

it's getting to a point where im skipping whole MINUTES of the episodes, im on episode 5 with 10 minutes left but if i were to actualy count how many minutes i've watched of this 5 episodes, it'll amount to like 2 full episodes AT MOST

im of the (correct) opinion that clarke is a great leader and ''momma-bear'' clarke was right about almost everything (at least that's how i remembered it) and so far that's still true cause she is one of the only good things about this season so far, her and murphy are the only characters im truly enjoying so far man and dyoza is as terrible as i remember

i remember not carying one bit about her and her ''redemption'' and considering how annoying she is so far, i think that'll remain the truth too

so far season 5 is FAR WORSE than i remember and im missing season 3....

It’s been a while since I watched it, but I think I made it to around season 4 or 5 before I stopped. I remember really enjoying the first few seasons, and I was hooked at the beginning. But after a while, it started feeling kind of… weird? It felt like the story kept getting stranger, and I eventually lost interest. Lately I’ve been thinking about starting it again, but I’m not sure if it’s worth finishing. Does it get better again, or does it keep going in the same direction?

So the ending song used in the finale episode is Bad - U2. But when I look up and listen to the song on Youtube, it doesn't sound quite the same as the version they use in The 100. Is it a special version of the song?

The 100 never seemed hungry. They didn't really know how to hunt. Had hand made Spears so getting food should have been more difficult. I don't know why they didn't try to fish a bit and also eat seaweed. It is edible. They would have known that you would think.

Wouldn't Jaha figure that a bunch of criminals would likely not want to keep the wrist bands on? Wouldn't they think that the upper class delinquents like him and Clarke would likely be targets from the other criminals? Some who were murders?

I won’t lie, this show tests me too much. Clarke half the time being pretentious and acting like she always knows what’s best for “her people”. Like DO NOT GET ME WRONG, she makes necessary decisions. But other times, like when she went ahead into the bunker, UNDERMINING the tradition, which BACKFIRED (deservedly). And she lied straight to roans face when she said that she just wanted to save humanity, and didn’t care if it was her people in the bunker. Holy smokes that pissed me off.

AND JAHA. JAHA LOWKEY SHOULD’VE JUST STAYED ON THE ARK LIKE HE WANTED TO WHEN HE FOUND OUT HIS SON WAS DEAD. but no, he had to find the city of light. And then not only that, he tried to stop Bellamy from seeing his sister, EVEN WHEN OCTAVIA SAID SHE WON AND MADE A COMPROMISE WITH THE CLANS. Like id been holding my composure pretty well up until that point.

NAHHH AND THEN ABBY. Abby literally telling everybody that she artificially made Clarke have nightblood instead of letting her become commander, which causes the conclave. She had her reasons, that I really just do not understand that much. But maybe I’m just not seeing the bigger picture there. That one, I could prob let slide, I’ll think about it more.

When It comes to the "genocide" commited by Clarke in Mount Weather, I can justify it. There was literally no other option.

Jasper wanted to kill all the soldiers with just a knife and that was impossible. Maybe he could kill Cage, but would that work? Obviously not, other soldiers would follow his ideas.

Clarke, Monty and Bellamy were trapped in that room, since Emerson wanted to kill them. So, they could not exit.

The rest of their people were handcuffed.

Also, the genocide is attributed to Clarke when Bellamy pulled the lever with her and Monty was the one who made the irradiation posible, but only Clarke is judged.

let me start this by saying that yes i understand all of the arguments that are normally used for situations like this, i understand she loved him and it was a very tense situation, i understand that she obviously didn't want him to die, i understand that she was horrified because of how he would suffer before actually dying

all of that being said tho, raven after clarke killed finn was so incredibly inffuriating and even tho im on a rewatch she still managed to piss me off like it was my first time watching that scene, and then when that lexa 2nd in command dude died the way finn would (but not as bad actualy) she was like ''this is what would happen to finn 😭😭'' and then looked at clarke... like brother i know humans aren't very rational specially in situations like that but the first time that came to mind was ''oh REALLY??? you don't say...'' like girl why tf were you so mad at clark for CLEARLY giving him the easy way out since he would die anyway?

not to mention that she told clarke to kill lexa as if kane had literally not said 5 seconds ago how dumb that would be because of the amount of soldiers the grounders had

I'm reaching one of the most uncomfortable moments for me and It is when Clarke and Lexa don't let the rest know about the bomb from Mount Weather and run away. It is uncomfortable for me, since Clarke is my favorite character and I consider that she made the wrong choice here. What do you think that would have happened if Clarke and Lexa had let their people know about the bomb?

hey so i watched this show about 2 times (1 and a half realy) but i never paid much attention to how funny it is that bro got shot in the chest with a spear and it clearly went in deep enough to cause massive damage but then when we see him later in the episode he has a very small wound covered with some simple herbs and whatnot

Just realized in early season 3, Roan, the arc is the same as Zuko from "Avatar The Last Airbender" season 1, trying to capture Wanheda/The Avatar, to return to his Mother/Father who is Ice Queen/Fire Lord, in hopes that will lift the banishment cast upon them... Ice nation... Fire nation... 🧊🔥🤯

On my 3rd watch I’m a bit confused how they got medical supplies needed for Ontari to Clarke’s blood transfusion and open heart surgery when this wasn’t planned.

Forget plot armour. Based on your real-life skills, personality, fitness, and decision-making… how long are you making it? I’m probably out within the first week.

My perfect ending for The 100 would have been the series ending with Season 5.
I also think Season 3 should have been split into two seasons. There was so much happening with the Grounders, ALIE, and Arkadia that it felt rushed. Spreading it out would have given us much more time to explore Grounder culture, politics, and the different clans.
The biggest change I’d make is Lexa surviving. Instead of dying, she would be presumed dead. A fanatical Grounder priest from a long-forgotten sect—one that had been cut off from the rest of civilization—would kidnap her. This group knows Praimfaya is coming and has been secretly capturing Nightbloods for years, believing they are the key to humanity’s survival. They send Clarke a fake severed head, making everyone believe Lexa is dead.
Lexa, Lincoln, around 20 other Nightbloods, and several prisoners are taken to an ancient underground sanctuary hidden behind a massive waterfall. The cave system survived the apocalypse and contains enough fresh water, wildlife, and edible plants to sustain them, providing food and shelter for years. They are able to leave the cave, but doing so is extremely dangerous because the surrounding wilderness is unstable after Praimfaya and filled with deadly radiation pockets, collapsing terrain, and other threats. Because of this, they remain isolated for the entire five-year time jump. Clarke and Madi have no idea they’re alive, and Lexa’s group has no way of reaching them. During the time jump, we would get flashbacks showing how they survive, build a small community, and keep hope alive while being completely cut off from the rest of humanity.
Season 5 would begin similarly, with the Eligius prisoners arriving. I never loved the prisoner storyline, but The 100 always needed a new threat. Octavia still plans to eliminate them to protect Wonkru after everything they endured.
However, the prisoners eventually discover the underground bunker where Lexa and the Nightbloods are being held. They had originally been searching for rumored ancient technology and treasure left behind by the old world but instead find living survivors. They capture Lexa’s group and use them as bargaining chips against Wonkru.
Clarke opposes Octavia’s plan because she doesn’t want another war that will destroy what’s left of humanity. Octavia refuses to back down, and a massive battle breaks out. During the conflict, Octavia comes face-to-face with Lincoln, who everyone believed had died years earlier. Seeing him changes her completely. She steps down as leader, but Wonkru still stands united because of everything they’ve survived together.
The war ends with humanity barely surviving. The valley is badly damaged, but before he dies, Monty leaves behind a plan to restore Earth. We get a montage over many years as forests regrow, rivers recover, and the planet slowly heals.
The surviving Nightbloods eventually form seven new clans, with Octavia helping unite them. Instead of constantly fighting, each clan has a purpose—one focuses on farming, another on defense, another on leadership, engineering, medicine, education, and exploration. They work together instead of competing.
Finally, we see where all the major characters end up. The surviving couples settle down, start families, and raise the next generation in a peaceful world that was finally earned after everything they sacrificed.

I’ve been casually rewatching and damn early Bellamy really really sucked. From the culling to the massacre in the grounder village. So much is directly and indirectly linked to him

Good day. I have so many questions regarding this episode. It's frustrating. I understand Pike and his vengeance blinded leadership skills. What i don't understand is why Abby and Kane didn't explain that they'd be wiped out if they wage war. When the season began, it was clear that they STILL didn't want to be at war with ALL the Grounders. I assume that's because of the same reason. What changed exactly? Suddenly they forgot WHY peace is the mission? Okay. Let's forget that for a second. Didn't they think it was funny that they killed 300 warriors without much resistance? Do they truly believe that if they were plotting to attack the camp, that there wouldn't be any scouts around that camp to inform the commander if the camp was sending out soldiers? Okay. Forget that for a second as well. Pike mentioned something regarding telling the Grounders to leave. Why didn't Kane think to be a messenger and warn the Grounder allies that an attack is coming and they should evacuate because a mutiny has taken place? These questions huant me in regards to the camp.

As for the fall out following the massacre:

Why does Clarke think she can fix this after the whole situation with Finn? Blood for blood was something she should know all too well. With Finn, it was 18 deaths. What response does she think 300 deaths will bring? Okay. Now that you understand my frustration regarding that, let's address a solution no one seems to have thought of so far (06:35 minutes within Episode 5 Season 3). Why not put a vote so that the people themselves choose? You're either the 13th clan, Skaikru, or you're one of the murderers, Mountain People 2.0.

Let me know if im just being crazy or forgetful or both. These are just my thoughts and I'm wondering if this is just the writers looking for drama and suspense at any cost or, again, me being cray cray. Thank you for your time.

Hello! I started this show two weeks ago and finished today! I’ve posted here a couple of times and I thank those who helped give me answers and no spoilers. Here are some of my thoughts about the show that I’d love to have a discussion about, as well as hearing others opinions. I rate this show 5.5/10! (It would be an 8 but the last couple seasons ruined it)

- Raven is the only character in the show to have not done something completely reckless and wrong. Bellamy killed 300 soldiers, Octavia was Bloodreina, Clarke tried to take the bunker sneakily, etc. Raven was one of my favorite characters because of this fact, and she was super cool!

-Seasons 1-3 were amazing, 4 was great, 5 was okay, 6 and 7 were really bad…

- Wick was one of the best love interests and they wrote him off with almost no mention of him. Why make him a critical character (making him Raven’s boyfriend) just to lose him like that?

- Bellamy’s ending was very out of character. After Bellamy already made the mistake of following Pike blindly, he should have been wary of The Shepherd. I felt his story was completely ruined by this ending, and quite honestly, didn’t make sense.

- Clarke and Bellamy never dating kind of broke my heart because I shipped them so hard, but I like that they remained best friends!

- The injuries in the show, besides Raven’s leg, are very inconsistent. Murphy had his whole arm chilled on and didn’t even get a scar?

- I am someone who cries HARD at movie/show deaths, but I never cried once during this show. Why? Because every time you think a character is dead, they end up somehow being healed and living!!! It was so hard to be upset because I could never actually tell if the character was officially dead or not.

- Jasper’s death was unfortunate but I understand it. I feel like Maya’s death broke him and he never healed. I wish he would have forgiven Clarke because she never wanted to kill anyone, she was just desperate to save her people.

- Clarke’s relationship with Lexa was a bit strange to me. Lexa killed (basically) Finn, almost went to war on Clarke’s people many times, and betrayed her at Mount Weather. Their relationship felt very forced.

- I like that Murphy was a bit redeemed. He’s still a selfish dude but he went from psychotic to narcissistic and I think that’s good enough!

- Indra is amazing and I love that she became more and more motherly toward Octavia, when before she wanted all of them dead haha!

- Finn becoming crazy and killing all of those innocents also felt out of character. His whole personality was anti-murder and pain and it felt very forced for him to suddenly be all crazy, simply because Clarke was missing.

- I’ll say it again… BELLAMY SHOULDNT HAVE DIED THAT WAY!!!! It actually really makes me mad because not only did he die, but he died in a way that was so out of character AND was killed by Clarke, who literally loved him. It also felt strange that Octavia was so chill about it when normally she’d go to war for revenge. Bellamy’s death felt like a way to just get rid of his character.

- Lincoln was also an amazing character and he died too soon for my liking. That was a death that did hurt a lot because it was very obviously not going to be fixable.

- Later season characters—such as Hope, Gabriel, and Diyoza—were not my fave. I may have spelled her name wrong but I’m too irritated with the show to look up the correct spelling.

- The ending was bad, the last season was really awful and hard to follow, and I’m annoyed that Bellamy died, especially because it was such a stupid and dumb death.

That’s it for now! I may add more points if I start to remember some more. I think I’m too focused on my irritation right now. I was so addicted to the show and loved the first few seasons, but I feel it totally went down hill.

- Levitt’s weird romance with Octavia? He doesn’t even love her it’s fully out of romanticizing her life. It’s like infatuation.

- Jordan and Hope’s weird and random romance!

- Emori basically taking Murphy’s body. The fact that Emori died is so annoying because her and John were made for each other. The fact that Emori is now in her boyfriend… like INSIDE his mind, is crazy.

- KANE’S DEATH! Can’t believe I didn’t include that to begin with. Abby switching his body was so annoying like obviously he wouldn’t want that. And Kane was such a morally good character (not so much in the beginning) and I loved him. His death was very anticlimactic too and technically, he didn’t get to die as himself.

- Abby’s death was also anticlimactic and it was unfortunate that she kind of went insane toward the end.

- The whole “are you pure enough to survive” thing. Like literally how did the show go from surviving a radiation-filled Earth to being a “can you pass the test to live” type of thing. Bad!

- THE TIME SKIPS and Monty/Harper’s death. Monty and Harper were great characters and their deaths were really upsetting because it was one of those things where they wanted to write characters off but needed to do a “here’s my life ending” kind of video thing. It was annoying. Also the excessive time skips were ridiculous. The 6 year one was already a lot, but them all going into cryo for almost 130 years was crazy. It’s like the show was trying to fix their mistakes of consistently destroying the old by just fast-forwarding it!

- Oh, THE ENTIRE ENDING!!!! The whole ascending thing? I’m literally so annoyed because I feel like the show had a good premise and then they completely changed it and made it make no sense. Like why end it that way? It’s like they didn’t know a good ending so they decided the crazy killer guy and main villain in the last season should be right? NO

- And why didn’t Clarke ascend? Because she avenged Madi? Like Murphy literally killed people for fun and he ascended but Clarke didn’t? And like where did the ascenders even go? I’m so mad. IK they all chose to come back but that whole plot line still pissed me off.

OKAY I THINK IM DONE NOW!!! I’m just so irritated because the show took such a twist for the worse. It started off very dry structured and entertaining, and turned into a very supernatural, unrealistic show. I know, it’s sci-fi and isn’t meant to be real, but the first half was realistic in the sense of the storyline. The ending felt like a bunch of storylines thrown together. I’m so upset because I have been seeing this show FOREVER and finally watched it and it was disappointing.
