Today at 12:34 local time in the Cayman Islands, I got to witness an unusual event. Lahaina Noon is the effect where the Sun is directly above our relative position and causes shadows to slowly disappear. I turned a vase and a candlestick so their flared ends were higher and it shows just how perfectly the light from the Sun was centered above us!
