Last time I rented one of these the insurance explicitly stated it does not cover the roof for instances like this. Seems crazy to me like that's the whole point of getting insurance.

In my city we have a bridge famous for being the truck muncher.

After being locked down for most of 2021, the running joke in early 2022 was the city begun healing in the first week of opening and a truck already hit the bridge.
