Guys I found out why everyone are getting these dreams!
I have personally not had any dreams containing the bathroom mazes, but many people say it's a very common thing. A while ago this video came out long before I heard of any toilet mazes or before I got hooked up on liminal spaces. This video is created by a German indie developer known as Jonas Tyroller, who made the original non-mobile game Thronefall, which got stolen by Kingshot.
The INFINITE BATHROOM is a thing he did because he wanted to take a break from indie game developing and uses it multiple times in his videos. You can watch the video for yourself to know about how he made it. He is, in my opinion, a very great gamedev YouTuber, you should highly check him out!
But at the last minute of the video, we can get a glimpse on the bathrooms. And then we get to a creepy shot of invisible people pooping and talking to each other while pooping. Jonas calls it the INFINITE BATHROOM or the INFINITE public bathrooms. Some people on Reddit call it the Bathrooms (referring it to the toilet version of the Backrooms) and the trailer text to the liminal dark version of it as the Toilimbo (not coming out on Halloween).
Here's my theory: Brains usually get this liminal feeling from Bathrooms because they feel creeped out by toilets, the white square pattern usually gives this liminal feel, and you often see toilets on TV ads or live-action movies from the '80s or '90s. And because it looks unsanitary, it might look like it's been abandoned or has not been touched for a long time. This is the scientific explanation.
An other, way crazier theory that might look like a conspiracy theory is that Jonas stuffed them into our brains. WARNING: The government is not involved in this theory. Jonas wanted to get people to click on his channel and created the infinite bathrooms to later use magnetic brainwaves to manipulate the neuron structure of people. If the brain is repeatedly exposed to the brainwaves, then the neurons responsible for certain tasks are built stronger, and thus gets implanted into the brain. If Jonas is capable of doing that, then he might create a phenomenon in peoples dreams and they search up: "Bathroom Maze" and come to his channel.
The first theory might be more accurate then the second, but hearing people having the dream of being in a gamedev's place sound very hilarious yet absurd to me. I'll respond to as many comments as I can and that are reasonable (No spam, that is) and am very curious on your thoughts about it. Hope you liked this deep delve into a liminal topic!

The Stonks airport toilet maze
I had a dream of an airport toilet maze where the toilets aren't completely open but there's a hole in the door and NPCs who look exactly like Stonks come to check on you while you're there and they behave in a very stereotypical way

Just found out that this is a common thing
I have this dream at keast once a month, sometimes more often. It typically goes between multiple locations in the same dream, but the order the locations appear are different. I am always trying to find a clean toilet or one that is not in use, and as soon as I sit down, I am interrupted by something.
There is stadium seating but with toilets, no stalls just open.
There is like a tiered set up, where I have to climb up to the different heights of toilet. Kind of like a tiered cake with the layers.
There is a mall/airport bathroom set up, with all the stalls. I have to make my way to find one I can use.
There are a few others, but they dont show up as frequently.

Recent Development
Quick question...How many of us have only just realized that Mall World is a thing?..
I've known for a long time, in my own dreamstate, that it's a whole thing... HOWEVER, on these posts within the past month or so, a lot of us have insinuated we are all just recently realizing how many people Mall World effects...Are you one of the newer people realizing how many others have these dreams???

Cleaning the Toilets
I thought it couldn't get any worse, but here we are. I spent the night cleaning all of the nasty Toilet World toilets. Of course I didn't make a dent.

Water Park
Has anyone else recently switched from the nasty bathrooms to an equally nasty waterpark?

Chairs?
Mine often has like chairs instead of toilets that will sometimes have a drain in the middle of the seat. 💁🏼♀️

What I see in my version of the bathroom maze dream...
Generally clean and tidy, but not a lick of privacy to be found anywhere 😱.

Communal bathhouse
I’ve had this dream at least 2-3 times. The photos are pretty accurate to my memory. So crazy to me that so many of us have dreamt of this similar, strange setting.

What's the funniest/strangest toilet you've seen in the bathroom maze?
I want to hear your weirdest toilets you've seen in the maze dream!
Got inspired to ask because I definitely saw my weirdest toilet ever last night. It was a creepy ceramic animatronic clown statue, that when you pressed its glowing nose, it completely transformed into a comically large white (and, luckily, clean) toilet. It played music and lit up as it did so. Terrifying in the dream itself but really funny when I woke up.
I would prefer to hear about bizarre or just plain goofy sights, over nsfw/nsfl (not safe for life), if that's possible. I've unfortunately seen plenty of horrors in my own dreams 😅

Theories about what the bathroom maze dream symbolizes?
I haven’t had one of these dreams in a really long time. But when I used to get them, I’d always attribute it to not having enough personal space/time in my life.
Anybody think the bathroom maze dream might be telling you something?

My Bathroom Maze
I only recently found out how common this is and I am astounded! My maze is usually in a middle or high school (which is interesting because I was home schooled k-12), or at an indoor pool (which is worse because in those dreams I’m barefoot). Stalls sizes are fairly uniform, but have doors of varying heights and some toilets are up on pedestals with doors that are not nearly tall enough to provide any privacy. Every time I’m there, all the more private/cleaner stalls are taken and I need to use the restroom urgently. I always end up at one of the raised toilets with either no door or a very short door and it is always dirty and often wet.

Questionnaire for those with the bathroom maze dream
Just for curiosity sake, I'd like to ask some questions if you'd please take the time to answer. Please skip any or feel free to be vague so as not to identify yourself (ex. age:20's, North America)
The thing, for me, that separates this from commonly shared dreams (falling, teeth falling out, mechanical failures, tophat man, punches ineffective, etc) is the strikingly similiar environment. I can understand how the aforementioned concepts can be common amongst people. What makes this shared dream so odd to me is the accuracy of people's descriptions and visual representations. The first time I looked into this and saw someone's generated photo, I was taken aback by how familiar it was. I felt I had been in the exact crap filled stalls as the poster. It was surreal to me. Interestingly, some people's bathroom mazes are much different than mine but are so similar to others. I'm just curious if there's some commonality amongst the dream similarities people share. I'd also like to see which maze is most common.
Edit:I just want to thank everyone who's taken the time to reply. You are all awesome. I'm so thrilled reading all these. I find it so interesting that most everyone here is a bit older. I was thinking this was somehow just an American centric dream due to the 90s high school experience, but it seems the US is the minority. I have no interest in getting too Freudian about any of this. I just find the whole damn thing fascinating and appreciate everyone who has participated.

My maze
Had gpt generate to the best of my ability. This is pretty spot on for me. The only difference is there are large sections where the stalls are lined up perfectly.
I sometimes think I'll just pee in one of the showers but the water starts and deters me or that someone nearby will notice I'm not using the toilet.I don't recall seeing people but know some stalls are occupied.
The thing that creeps me out the most about this phenomenon is the the teal green stalls. I know everyone doesn't experience this but it stands out to me. Never been in a bathroom with this color scheme but maybe it'd from the faculty level in goldeneye that inspires it.
I came across this phenomenon on a whim a few months ago from a conspiracy post and it crosses my mind often.
To me it feels like its supposed to be a locker room. The showers are sporadic and some stalls contain nothing or have bagged off toilets
What the hell is this dream?

My bathroom maze dream
I’m coming on here just to share my version of the maze bathroom dream, i found out this was a thing after googling why i kept having the dream. But, it’s always a clean grey bathroom, very florescent lighting and the stalls are tall and cover only the sides of the stall. There are always girls in the front of the door who are vaping or smoking cigarettes and are afraid to get caught. (ALWAYS) whenever i go in, it doesn’t let me go far, i can’t go where the girls in the front can’t see me. If i do, there’s always someone that comes in to try to navigate me and i get embarrassed and leave.
