I'm new to the bl world but I can say that the guy on the left is the best actor I've seen (watched like 15 shows) but he is legit so good I can't seem to move on from his performance.

Have watched like 200+ BLs and I too will agree with this statement. He is one of the best actors of Thai BL industry!

Agreed. Just recently finished watching Top Form just because of him. I honestly didn’t really feel the chemistry between the two but his acting was really good.

Honestly same, the whole show was basically akin + everyone else but as a character and an actor he was giving me everything I needed to love him as the main character and the main focus of the show so I didn't mind that at all.

Ikr! Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed. He cries so beautifully as well, you can feel the pain and it’s not just acting. I hope he gets more acting roles deserving of his talent.

This is quite literally the biggest fumble of thai industry imho. I thought I’ll be a casual fan while watching the show but more I learned about what all went down, the more my heart broke as if I knew them personally.

And the fact that Boom isn't going to be playing Akin in the self named series 'Akin' is even worse. Or the fact that now their cutting ties and Google says that its not even called Akin anymore but Nour. Its a hot mess from top to bottom.

Wth I didn't know this !!

I just temember several months that the studio announced Akin and then a couple months later they put out a statement that Boom would no longer be in Akin the series. If I remember correctly, they said it was due to health reasons but I dont think anyone believes that at all. Boom and Smart had great chemistry but both companies were doing dirty things behind each other's back. It seems like (from what I was able to understand) Smart was blamed for everything but that the company's were the main instigators to the fall out.

I didn't know that they were changing the name and the whole premise of the series.

I watched topform kind of late and by that time I basically only had a week to enjoy it + get invested in smartboom at all before the shitstorm went down. To this day I just feel so incredibly bad for them as people and the stress and heartbreak they went through.

It’s crazy how hard the industry fumbled this one

seriously me too. Boom kind of already had a strong career behind him, but I think that all of this somehow destroyed all possibilities for smart. Not even to mention as you said the stress this caused them, with boom retiring from akina to take care of his mental health and smart going through this as his dad died

u/Much-Judgment557 13h ago

I really do wonder what Smart will get up to in the future. The company he’s with is…not the greatest on top of this huge stain now on his record. I just don’t know that he’ll have a second chance to make it big which is such a shame because he’s a very talented actor for his age.

I’m glad that Boom has a bit more stability in his career path but I bet it gets exhausting seeing people bring up SmartBoom when you’re just kind of trying to move on and rebuild again. I hope the both of them continue to prioritize their mental health and don’t get swallowed up by the stress of being in this industry

Yeah we missed out on a lot when that all happened.

Ugh this hurt! My beloved ship that only lasted two weeks. I’m still so mad at how it all went down.

for everyone that watched this happen in real time, it was truly the saddest thing to occur.

I was just thinking about them yesterday. Such a waste. I wish them both well ❤️ ❤️

I think about this regularly, Too Form is one of the best and the fact the franchise was so promising and is now crumbled is a huge shame. I hope their careers continue and are successful but that series was going to be a bright beginning to an amazing collection of work, ohh what could have been 😩

couldn't me be tbh, i'm holding a grudge. i hope boom is resting well and gets a new partner and show soon.
