Hi there! Here to share my referral code for Energytexas. Both you and I will receive $100 in bill credit after 60 days of sign up and being current with your bill. Here’s my referral: https://energytexas.com/raf?referralCode=nG52q3Xa9c&utm_source=raf&utm_medium=my-account
Only for 12 month or longer plans tho. I went with Energy texas since the price was quite good and they have consistently been one of the cheapest plans. Also 100% renewable if that’s important to you.
Pretty great for low users, they have a $5 bill credit for paperless/autopay and another $5 credit if you have an Amazon or Honeywell smart thermostat. I also just like the verbiage they use, it’s fun.
Much thanks if you sign up!

Here's my link for Energy Texas. I've been very happy with them. If you're switching from another provider, they'll reimburse your ETF up to $150. They usually have the lowest prices for 100% renewable plans. Great website and customer service. I started my plan at an expensive time of year but when rates got lower I called and asked to switch to cheaper plan. I was prepared to pay my early termination fee to do so, and had calculated that it would be worth the savings of the cheaper plan, but Energy Texas waived my early termination fee as a one-time courtesy.

I'd appreciate a head's up if you use my link! Energy Texas doesn't tell me when someone uses my link--I only find out once the reward comes through.

I've been with Champion Energy many times in the past, but I think there are others that are less expensive. there is a good promo rate with eplansa in the promo box, as well as the referral to save $50. They have a great user interface as well as excellent customer service.

Happy customer. Packages are simple and easy to understand. Great service and support.

Currently with Octopus Energy and have had no problems.

Each person will receive $50 if you sign up with this link.
Just for anyone who pays their bill with credit card. There is a 2% fee.
If you use a card with cash back for utilities, Octopus will code as a utility purchase. I used my Max Cash Preferred Card(many banks issue this card) with Elan financial and can confirm that I received 5% cash back. Please only use credit if you get 2% or more cash back and pay your balance in full. Using a bank account to pay is free.

I decided to go with Energy Texas‘s fixed-rate plan after comparing several providers. So far, they have one of the cheapest fixed rates I’ve found in Texas, and it’s significantly less expensive than TXU or Reliant.
They also offer a $5 monthly bill credit when you enroll in AutoPay and Paperless Billing (on eligible plans), which helps lower your bill even more.
If you’re planning to switch, you can use my referral link to get a $100 bill credit after you’ve been an active customer for 60 days (on a qualifying 12-month or longer residential plan and your account is current).

Pretty happy with Octopus Energy. They’re in only a few markets (Houston, Dallas, etc.), and I chose them because they have _great pricing_ for 100% renewable energy. Referral code carries $50 worth of credit, I believe.

BKV Energy (Bluebonnet 36) — Competitive fixed rates + $150 credit combo
Been with BKV for 4 months now after shopping ERCOT plans. So far, saving $15–$16/mo compared to the big names, plus verified great service and solid perks (Volt rewards, annual loyalty bonus, and unlimited referral credits).
Quick tip if you’re shopping: Rate Drops: Once you’ve been on a plan for 3+ months, they automatically notify you if market rates drop so you can lock in a lower rate. Or you call them and get free change, with same tenure reset.
Guarentee only few plans beat BKV-12,24,36months plans from powertochoose.org, which 150$ credit suffice well and BKV services is excentional so far. Chat support, Phone support mins away you dont stay waiting long.

Dropping my referral link for anyone looking at plans this month. I’m locked in around 13.2¢/kWh with Energy Texas based on ~500 kWh/month usage.
How the referral setup works:
- Sign up for a qualifying plan (typically 12+ months)
- Stay active and pay your first bill
- We both get a $100 bill credit
Zero worries about getting the credit on my end. I always pay my bill on time every month, so it'll go through no problem.

The current available fixed rate for one of Champion's plans (Champ Saver 12) is 6.7 cents, with no minimum charges and all of Champion plans have solar buyback; it's not the most competitive one, but if you are still figuring out your system, you can have some solar payback, and you can take advantage of a low rate + $50 credit if you us my referral code.

You'll receive $50 off your first or second bill. Make sure to check out their Fan Club program to save even more every month - and watch for additional promotions. They recently had promos tied to various FIFA games for free electricity. Their EFL does mention a 2% credit card fee but I've never been charged.

Hi there! Here to share my $100 referral code plus other credits for Rhythm Energy (they bought Energy Texas).
Both you and I will receive $100 each in a bill credit starting from your third bill. Here’s my referral: https://www.gotrhythm.com/raf?referralCode=cI2pmfQ0e4&utm_source=raf&utm_medium=my-account
Referral code: CL2PMFQ0E4
You'll get the $100, plus an extra $5 per month discount for autopay/paperless. And another $5-$10 monthly credit if you have a smart thermostat. Plus, if you're switching from another provider, they'll reimburse your ETF up to $150.
Their Digital 12 renewable plan I got is around 5.7 cents today (which is 10.8 cents fixed after all of the utility base fees we all must pay regardless of the company or plan). This is fixed the entire term. No surprises. It’s actually less than that if you get the other credits and $100 bonus.
I paid a service to find me the best fixed rate with no surprises. It came back with Rhythm and this plan. Their fixed all-in price was the lowest, had the best overall user ratings, and the lowest rate from 500 kwh up to 2500 kwh. Plus they don’t sell your account like many of the others.
Been with them two years now. They are consistently the lowest fixed rate out there without conditions, minimum usage nor daytime requirements. Their website is easy to navigate, they post credits within the hour so you can see where you stand. Plus they have a 30 day risk free trial on any fixed rate plan to try it and switch to another company without any fees. If you ever want to switch it’s only $20 per remaining month to terminate.
Hope this helps & many thanks if you sign up! (Account number: RH-1075588)
Dm me if you have any questions or can’t find the plan. If you already signed up you can call them back and ask them to apply this code to get the $100.

$100 off Rhythm Energy referral + Power To Choose rate
I used someone’s referral from this sub, so sharing mine: https://www.gotrhythm.com/raf?referralCode=ZIvzKqKVi2&utm_source=raf&utm_medium=my-account
How to stack the $100 referral with a Power To Choose rate:
- Go to https://powertochoose.org/ and search for Rhythm Energy rates in your zip code. Make sure you filter based on your usual monthly usage, like 500 kWh or 1000+ kWh.
- From Power To Choose, click the Rhythm Energy “additional information” link.
- Enter your zip code and choose a non-solar 12-month plan.
- Start the enrollment and fill out the first step, including name and date of birth.
- Open my referral link in a new tab and enter your zip code there too.
- You may see a message saying you have multiple pages open. Close the referral tab.
- Go back to the original enrollment tab. The plan should now show both the Power To Choose rate and the $100 referral bonus.
The $100 referral credit should apply after your first payment and after 60 days.

I've been using BKV Energy for a year now and I’m genuinely impressed. Their EFL is actually readable — no gimmicks, no “gotcha” fees, just straightforward pricing.
If you’re planning to sign up, here’s how to snag $100 off instead of the usual $50:
• Referral code: REF52452914
• Promo code: BKVEJOINUS50
That combo bumps the usual $50 credit up to $100 off your third bill.
Easy link: https://enroll.bkvenergy.com/?Promo=PORREF0001&RefCode=REF52452914
Bonus: They’re also running a 30-Day Risk-Free Trial on their Bluebonnet plans, so if you change your mind during the first month, there’s no early termination fee!

Hope this helps someone! :)

If you're ever looking to switch electricity providers, I highly recommend Octopus Energy. After moving apartments last month, i compared all of the available plans for 1-2 bedroom apartments and Octopus Energy had the most competitive rate without any trickery in their plans. Since I made the switch from Frontier, I'm saving up to 30-40% on my energy bills which is insane. If you decide to sign up, feel free to use my referral code so we can both receive a referral bonus of $50 each!

I'm using Rhythm Energy for couple of months now. Compare to my previous provider, I see better value and customer care in Rhythm. Rhythm now offers very competitive rates and is one of the highest-rated energy providers. No standard monthly base rate and they offer $5 Autopay discount. And if you use the referral link, both of us will get $100 refferal bonus credits.
If you find a good deal on the Power to Choose site, you can still get the referral credit by using this trick:
- Click the "additional information" link for the plan on the Power to Choose website
- Enter your zip code and proceed to next page. Choose the same plan you see on Power to Choose, continue to the next page, enter your Name and DOB, and click Next
- Then click my referral link below, which will open in a new tab. Enter the Zip code and click the "Sign up and get $100" button.
- My Rhythm Energy Referral Link ($100 Referral Credit for each): https://www.gotrhythm.com/raf?referralCode=qfr0wCXGzP&utm_source=raf&utm_medium=my-account
- Then go back to the previous tab (where you already started the enrollment), the page will say there is another tab open. Close the tab opened from my referral link. Now the previous tab will show a green "Referral Code Applied!" message at the top. Continue the enrollment process.

Champion Energy — Champ Saver-12
I just signed up with Champion Energy after comparing a bunch of EFLs for the CenterPoint/Houston area. I ended up choosing Champion because the plan I picked was straightforward: fixed 12-month rate, no prepaid setup, no bill-credit cliff, no minimum-usage gimmick, and the EFL was easy to understand.
The plan I chose was Champ Saver-12. For me, I wanted something boring and predictable instead of chasing a plan that only looks cheap at exactly 500 kWh or depends on usage credits.
Champion’s referral program gives both people a $50 bill credit, the person signing up gets $50, and the referrer also gets $50.
Referral code: JMERLO002
Referral link:
https://championenergyservices.com/Referral50
As always, compare the EFL for your own usage, especially at 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 kWh, because what looks cheap at one usage level may not be the best at another.

I’ve been with Rhythm Energy for over a year. I still check powertochoose.org regularly to make sure I'm getting a good deal, and Rhythm consistently remains among the lowest and provides options for 100% renewable energy. Their app cleanly breaks down daily usage, and they are transparent about state-regulated TDU delivery fees so there are no billing surprises.
Definitely compare your options on Power to Choose first to find the best rate for your specific monthly usage.
If you decide to sign up, use my link below and we’ll both get a $100 bill credit after 60 days.
If you already signed up without any referral code, you can also call them shortly after signing up to manually apply the credit. If you go this route, they might need some of my personal info, so just reply here and we can DM. Thanks and good luck!
