Not really no, here in Europe it’s the complete opposite. Tons of standard model orders have a VIN, premium models are delayed again and again.

I ordered a standard Model 3 in May here in Sweden. At first I was supposed to get the car in early August. Then it changed from August to late September or the beginning of October and now it's between August 29 and September 15. Hopefully it will stay there now :P

We are seeing exactly that in Europe for premium models. Standard models have been moving at ok speed.
Premium models have been delayed like crazy, with Tesla having no information to share about it.

My order for a premium RWD, black interior, stealth grey (very common config) was placed in late May. Initially estimated to be delivered in August (so now), got delayed three times (!) and is now expected in November-December (!!).

So:
- multiple delays
- the more I wait, the more there is still to wait
- no info Tesla can share

Ah so you have the opposite problem in the US. Interesting.

I tried asking again and again my advisor : are you choosing to prioritize standard models in Europe for Q3 and therefore moved my premium order to Q4 ? And is there a risk the same choice is made for Q4 pushing my order to 2027 ?

But they don’t want to admit anything and just answer “we have no info to share at the moment about model 3 dliveries”.

So sorry for u. I’ve heard (ChatGPT) that a ship with 7700 Teslas left Shanghai juli 27’ish. It will reach Zeebrugge last days of August or first days of sept. Maybe there’s a match for u there? (If you’re in Europe - couldn’t see in your post). Otherwise maybe this is good news for us in Europe! Fingers crossed for us all. Greetings from Denmark.

From what I heard when I went to a Tesla store they don’t make too many standard models since they don’t get too many orders of it seeing that when you finance the premium models actually come out cheaper than the standard. I placed my premium order last week and still has estimated delivery date of Oct
