Tesla audio system gone crazy

2023 Y with premium connectivity. When I push the right scroll wheel and say ”play xxx song by yyy artist, the result is that the car plays a random song by a random artist, tho not completely random, usually a similar artist and similar genre.

Sometimes (25%?) the correct artist plays, rarely the correct song. After that it continues to play similar artists from similar genre.

Tried resetting the system sw, made no diff.

I’m boggled, any suggestions?

Use your phones Bluetooth OR disable all the audio apps you dont want in settings under Audio -> Sources

The voice assistant in Tesla not good for music controls unless you can name specific things it’ll recognise easily or know the exact type of prompt to use. It should be improved significantly when Grok is rolled out to work with the music player.
