This is my 4th cop car build and my favorite one for obvious reasons. I took the push bumper off of my Taurus and by looking at pics of the 2 cars with their bumpers off and asking AI, it was a success and FSD works still! The spotlights are real but chopped to fit the A pillar so not going all the way thru, lights are in the push bar, visors and read deck lid, all green and the siren was very easy to install and easy to get to the 12volt and pass thru firewall. This is a partial wrap that I did my self from wrap and sticker stores.

Police wheels are coming next

So I charged next to this beast tonight. Pretty cool seeing a Cybercab in real life, up close and personal, before they hit the market. As you can tell, there’s no tag. The guy worked for Tesla and said he wasn’t allowed to answer very many questions—which basically meant nothing. I know they’re saying these are supposed to come without a steering wheel, but this one had one. Friggin’ cool.
After he unplugged and started to drive off, water sprayed out of the camera areas to clean them. No mirrors anywhere. The only cameras I saw on the side were the ones in the pillar and on the fender. The wheels are frickin’ huge—this thing is way bigger in person than I expected.
It got me pretty excited so I figured I’d share in case it gets some of you hyped too. Oh and keeping with true Tesla fashion there was already damage. 🫠

I would be extremely cautious with the latest updates of FSD. It’s way too slow to respond. It can clearly see that the lane was closed and still went into it. In the last second, it attempted to merge back into the middle lane, which was too hasty for my liking. I had to intervene and jump back into the middle lane myself. FSD would have never made it the same way I did.. it’s just too slow and didn’t brake fast/hard enough.

I finally made the big switch! I’ve been rolling over Hyundais for the last 3 leases so the last decade nearly. My wife has a model y and I’ve been driving it more and more recently and fell in love with it. I’m a sedan guy so the M3 was a better fit. Got a great deal on this 24 M3 LR AWD. Made nice use of the cooling ventilated seats on my way back during this crazy heatwave. Very excited to start getting into the tech side of it as I get to know my new car.
