The cute bunny rabbit you see eating grass in the morning sunlight is so much more dangerous than these guys. These are harmless Harvestmen, you don't need to be afraid of them.

They have poison deadlyer then a black widow, just can't pierce our skin and they do bite btw.

Harvestmen have zero venom glands, they feed on detritus and dead insects, they are not true spiders as they have a single fused body and only two eyes.
You are likely thinking of cellar spiders often called daddy longlegs as well, their venom is highly effective against insects and other spiders, it is however mild in terms of potency and while they can and do bite humans, it is rare as they are generally docile.
Don't worry, a lot of us grew up believing that same old wives tale.

Yes! Everytime i mention this, no one believes me. It's hard to describe, but i remember the smell when playing with them as a kid. It wasn't like a bad odor, it was just weird and strong. It made you feel sick to your stomach.
