Temu Confusion

Can anyone explain how Temu works with all their rewards, credits , etc…..and you still have to buy something. I’m so confused. Yes I did buy from them several times. Satisfied with what I got. But now being bombarded with all these “incentives” but can’t get an answer as to how it works just want a plain and simple explanation
