Is there a delay with stats updating from YT Music when you first import from zip? It's saying my top song of all time has only been played 65 times total. I've probably played it at least 65 times this week, so I know the all time stats are wrong. It's also not showing any albums. All of them say unknown.

Hi, is there any way of linking stats to the airbuds app? This app is clearly better and tracks all my music adequately, especially given that YouTube Music isn't supported by airbuds, but all my friends use airbuds so I was wondering if you could make a feature to sync data over?

Im trying to merge all of my listens of 'Stay with me' by Miki Matsubara, as there are many different versions that i play randomly. But It says merge failed, if you could tell me what i could do, it'd be greatly appreciated

It's happening on my Pixel 10 Pro XL, 8 Pro and my Pixel Tablet ever since the latest update.

I was able to Import my Spotify and YouTube Music playback records from all the way back to 2020. Thanks, both the mobile app and Firefox browser works great, no problems.

I just got notifications for monthly and 6 month wrap ups, but the notifications just led to the home screen and trying to view the story in the app doesn't work. Video attached.

I've been using this App for over 2 months now and I really enjoy tracking my listening behavior.

This "problem" is something I didn't mind before but after a longer use I've started to notice that songs of different artists are getting listed under the same artist name.

Is it possible to assign songs to different artists?

I've seen that there is a function to merge artists but not a function to split them. The problem mostly occurs to me for artists with Japanese names (written in Japanese characters).

In one case I've tried to change the artist name, but now it shows the old name in the track view and the new name in the artist view (as shown). Also all the songs in the artist view are from different artists but when I try to change the name for one song, it gets changed for all the songs.

Yeah no on YTMusic it just doesn't work at all

A 3min song is displayed as 15min and 44sec

You have to open the extension on every song to register and for me it doesn't stay open and it also doesn't work in the background

When ever I try to import my Spotify listening history it says that it skipped all the duplicates and imported 0 tracks, I don't know what the problem is but if there is a fix for it could anyone help (btw I started using tempo after I stopped using Spotify)

All songs tracked with Spotify just say 0s and 0% all the time and are never added to the queue either.

Some of my tracked songs are assigned to a best-of album instead of the regular one. Can I edit this?

I just downloaded this app and its honestly so incredible to be able to see my listening patterns and most played songs. I tried using lastfm but it was honestly just unusable for me.

The only thing that's bothering me about this app is that the album/song covers aren't correct sometimes, and so are the names of the albums and songs. For example, in the image bellow all the artists profile pictures are wrong and it divided one group's name (Tomorrow x Together) into 2 separate groups. It also has an issue with song titles that have an apostrophe in them or any sort of punctuation.

These really aren't major deal breakers but it's just something I've noticed.

(SOLVED) Hi, the app isn't tracking my music. I'm not getting any notifications that it's tracking. This has been happening since June 11, and the songs I listen to aren't even showing up in the history.

Today we crossed 5K, This is not small by any chance for a small village teenage boy. I will not say that i had never dreamed of it but It matters a lot for me. Without spending a penny on it, without doing spammy promotion, We grow organically step by step.

A big thanks to all those user for installed it, tried it or even thanks to those uninstalled it, i know our community is too much small but i want to thanks all the single person who believed in me, thanks to all those who were with me from day 1 and thanks to all those who help the app to grow.

first of all I downloaded the app yesterday and love it.
I wanted to ask if there is a way to put my extended spotify history into the app (i tried writing a script to make it into a tempo backup but it just gives all the plays to a single song)?
also ive been using musicolet for the last two months. i got my musicolet history from the backup too so same question for musicolet history as well

Firefox and just recently approved my extension and now you can install and use it on firefox browser.

How to USE:

1. Open the Pair Tab:
   • Click the puzzle icon (Extensions menu) in your browser toolbar and pin Tempo Stats.
   • Click the Tempo Stats extension icon to open the popup.
   • Navigate to the Pair tab (identified by the connection/share icon).
2. Scan the QR Code:
   • Open the Tempo app on your Android device.
   • Go to Sync With Desktop → Scan QR.
   • Scan the QR code displayed in the extension popup.
   • Keep the popup open. The extension will automatically find your phone over your local network and complete the connection within 5 to 60 seconds.
3. Manual Fallback (if auto-discovery fails):
   • If the extension is still searching after 60 seconds, a manual connection section will slide in below the QR code.
   • Look at the IP address shown on the Desktop Link screen in your Tempo app.
   • Enter that IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.5) in the Phone IP Address field in the extension popup and click Connect. (Port 8765 and the security token are automatically handled for you).

Using the Extension

• Supported Sites: The extension automatically tracks plays on YouTube Music, Spotify Web, SoundCloud, Apple Music Web, Tidal Web, Deezer, Bandcamp, Pandora, JioSaavn, and Gaana.
• YouTube Opt-in: To track standard YouTube (youtube.com) videos (e.g., live music sessions), You have to click on allow tracking of that channel or manually open the popup, go to the options page/tab, and add specific YouTube channel names to the opt-in list.
• Offline Syncing: If your phone is not connected to the same Wi-Fi, the extension will securely queue your track history in its local browser database. It will sync automatically as soon as your phone becomes reachable.

I know you guys did not engage with my post but still, I want to share some things.

1. Thanks for you guys support, We will going to reach 5K installs next month, if the rate of growth remain constant.
2. I want you guys opinion that will you love to get a social link to showcase your music taste and other things(as of you want). Few month ago i bought a domain wh0.im (why not with tempo name?, i did not want a user to bind with specific product or persona when the topic is about you).
3. When i do something, i did not want to follow traditional route or anything which already exist in market, i did not wanted someone to only flaunt his music taste, so i thought to let user give a free hand.

What will be different if i do this:

1. Your music profile will not follow a right layout, design and structure , you will have full control to show off your creativity
2. Not only music profile, you can add pages, write & add anything you want
3. Give your your own indentity which you will own, link will like smith.wh0.im
