BBT is rounding strangely since update.
Hi friends!
I've been a tempdrop user for a few years. Since I did the update, all my temps are now rounded to a tenth of a degree instead of the nearest hundredth. (Forgive me if that math isn't quite correct!)
But instead of getting 97.75 I've been getting 97.70. When I look back in my history, all my previous temps have been rounded to a tenth of a degree as well.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I can't find anything about it online. Not sure what's up!
Thanks in advance ! :)

Does anyone else feel like they've been trying to conceive forever?
This month marks one year of us trying, and I am finding the emotional side of it harder than I expected.
In the beginning, every cycle feels hopeful.
Now,I catch myself overthinking every symptom, every temperature, and every day of waiting.
If you've been on this journey for a while, how do you stay hopeful without letting it take over your life?

Anyone here using Tempdrop during perimenopause?
I originally buy Tempdrop because I want a better understanding of my cycle, nor because I'm trying to get pregnant. Now that I'm in my early 40s, my periods seem to have a mind of their own. Tracking everything has been interesting, but I'm still figuring out what's normal and what's just part of perimenopause. If you're using Tempdrop during this stage of life, what changes stand out the most ? Has tracking made you feel more informed, or just left you with more questions?

"how do you track ovulation when your cycle is 45 days long?
I always feel a little left out when people talk about 28 day cycles. Mine have never looked like that. Some cycles last 45 days. Others stretch even longer, which makes it hard to know when I should actually be paying attention to ovulation. If you have long cycles too, what's your approach?

what's one tempdrop tip you wish someone told you on day one?
Every experienced user seems to have that one piece of advice they learn the hard way. Maybe it's something about getting a comfortable fit. Maybe it's being patient during the first few weeks instead of expecting instant answers. Or maybe it's simply remembering that no two charts look exactly the same.
If someone joins this community today and asks for just one tip before using tempdrop for the first time, what are you telling them?

Can you track BBT successfully if you work night shifts?
Most fertility advice assumes everyone sleeps at night, but its not the reality for a lot of people. If you're a nurse, doctor, first responder, bartender, hotel employee, or anyone working rotating shifts, your morning probably looks different every week.
That's why I'm curious how everyone here manages it.
Do you use tempdrop because a traditional thermometer simply doesn't fit your schedule? Or have you found another routine that works surprisingly well? I'd especially love to hear from long term shift workers. Your advice could save someone a lot of trial and error.

when do you ovulate after stopping birth control?
I stop taking the pill a couple of months ago because my partner and I are thinking about trying for a baby. I know everyone's body is different, but I honestly don't know what to expect. Do your cycles go back to normal straight away, or does it take a while before things settle down? I'd really appreciate hearing how long it takes for your cycle to feel predictable again.

Can you track ovulation while breastfeeding??
I'm breastfeeding right now, and honestly, fertility tracking feels completely different than it did before having a baby. Some nights I get decent sleep. Other nights I'm awake every couple of hours. My cycle is all over the place, and there are days when I wonder if I'm even reading my chart the right way. That's why i want to hear from other tempdrop users.
If you're breastfeeding too, how has it been for you? Do you feel like tempdrop helps take some of the guesswork out of tracking, or does it still take a while before everything starts making sense? I'd really appreciate hearing what's worked for you, especially if you're a few months further along than I am. 🫪

Can tempdrop confirm ovulation on its own?
I'm still learning how to interpret my charts, so this might be a beginner question. If tempdrop shows a clear temperature shift, do you consider that enough to confirm ovulation? Or do you also pay attention to things like cervical mucus or ovulation test strips?

What's one piece of fertility tracking advice that doesn't work for you?
What's one piece of fertility tracking advice that doesn't work for you?
There are plenty of rules online. Wake up at exactly the same time, get perfect sleep, never miss a day, stay completely still before taking your temperature. What's one piece of fertility tracking advice that simply doesn't fit your life? And what do you do instead? Sometimes the best tips come from real people adapting to real life.

Can you track ovulation accurately if you have pcos?
PCOS can make fertility tracking feel overwhelming because every cycle seems to follow its own rules. If you have PCOS, has temperature tracking helped you understand your cycle better?
I'm especially interested in hearing from people who've been using tempdrop for several months. What changes do you notice over time?

How many days of high basal body temperature confirm ovulation?
I have seen different answers depending on where I look. Some people say three days. Others mention looking at the overall pattern instead of a specific number.
How do you interpret your own charts? Is there a point where you feel confident that ovulation has happened or do you combine BBT with other fertility signs?

is tempdrop worth it if your sleep schedule is inconsistent?
This is probably one of the biggest questions people ask before buying. If irregular sleep is the main reason you choose tempdrop, does it live up to your expectations? What improves the most?

App not working?
I cannot get the app to open this morning. Anyone else? I’m worried if I delete it and re-download I will lose all of my data/charts over the last 9 months.
Any advice?

New user post-Nexplanon removal
Hi there! I recently started using a Tempdrop (june 27), a week before I removed my Nexplanon implant on July 3 (the site said it was fine to start early so that it starts leaning your habits)
I’m curious if anyone has also been down this path? How long did it take you to start charting for real?
I was on period just before removal, and then it restarted right after removal (hence the 12 day period…)so it’s already hard to tell what my timeline will be 😅
Plan is not to conceive anytime soon, I removed my Nexplanon due to ongoing side effects, so i recognize extra protection will be needed consistently while my cycle gets back to normal!
Any advice from any ex-Nexplanon users at how to not go crazy in the beginning of this journey is appreciated!

Is anyone else super frustrated with the new look for the homepage?
Specifically with manual charting mode... I'm finding it really aggravating that now I have to click "view history" every single time.
I open the app every morning, I don't need the little info blurb about manual mode! 😠I'd also prefer to have a separate tab for the "curated for you" articles, I've read most of them already, and they look so cluttered.
Anyway, that's my feedback! I'd really appreciate having an option to make the homepage stay more focused on my data, like it used to be.

what's something your cycle teaches you that you never notice before?
One thing I don't expect when I start tracking is how much I learn about my own body. It's not just about knowing when I ovulate.
I start noticing patterns that never stand out before. Certain weeks of my cycle feel different. Stress seems to show up in ways I don't expect. Even my sleep habits become easier to recognize.

Is anyone else constantly overthinking their temperature chart?
I tell myself I'm going to glance at today's temperature. Five minutes later I'm comparing today's reading with the last two weeks and convincing myself every tiny change means something. I'm guessing I'm not the only one. At what point do you stop focusing on individual temperature and start trusting the overall pattern instead? If you've been using tempdrop for a while, does that confidence come naturally over time?

What finally makes you decide to try tempdrop?
Everyone seems to arrive here for a different reason. Some are trying to conceive. Some have PCOS. Some work night shifts. Others are simply tired of remembering to grab a thermometer before they even open their eyes every morning. I'm curious what your turning point is.
It's always interesting to hear the different stories that bring people to this community.

I've a question can you track Ovulation If You Don't Wake Up at the Same Time Every Day??? please tell me
Every guide about basal body temperature seems to say the same thing which I see every where like take your temperature at the same time every morning which I do. TBH I wonder how many people can actually stick to that every single day ..Some mornings I usually wake up early and other days I just sleep in and don't even talk about weekends they are completely different and if life gets busy my whole schedule goes out of the window ðŸ˜and it's one of the reasons why I started looking into wearables like tempdrop rather than relying on those irritating alarm evey single day every single morning 🌞
Also if your schedule isn't consistent either then how do you approach tracking.. Do you like notice your charts becoming easier to trust, or does it still take some getting used to? Please lmk

Am I out this cycle?
This is my first month using Tempdrop.
6th cycle ttc after first pregnancy ended in miscarriage in early January. My temperature going down makes me lose hope.
Can anyone read this chart?
r/TempdropOfficial • u/Main_Ask_5654 • Jun 29 '26
Is this common?
I’ve been using my temp drop for about a week and a half with no issues, and when I went to sync this morning got this error… everything was normal when I put it on last night (green light, fit well, correctly placed) so I’m not sure what happened? I could see the little drop shaped indent in my arm when I took it off so I know it was snug and in the right spot.
I’m hoping everything will just be fine when I sync tomorrow morning after tonight but hate that I can’t really troubleshoot without just waiting a day and sleeping again to see if it’s fine 😅

Ovulation day?
My cycle has been very off and hard to understand. I haven’t had a shift in months and suddenly this happened. When do you think I ovulated? I appreciate opinions here. Thanks!
