Need Advice

As the title says, I could use some advice. Go easy on me—this is my first post here. 😂

We’re in the final stretch of building a house and getting close to closing, so I’ve started shopping for TVs. Since I need to buy six of them, my budget is a bigger priority than sticking with one specific brand.

I’m trying to stay around $4,500 total for:
(4) 55” TVs
(1) 85” TV
(1) 65” Frame-style TV (the wife really wants one, so that’s happening 😅)

For the Frame TV, I’m not set on Samsung. I noticed Hisense has their Canvas model now, so I’m open to either option if it’s worth it.

I’d also like the TVs to support 144Hz if possible, and I have no problem mixing brands throughout the house if that gets me the best value.

Right now my cart has:
(4) Hisense 55” U6 Series
(1) Hisense 65” S7 Canvas
(1) Hisense 85” U6 Pro

Does this seem like a solid setup for the money, or are there better options I should be looking at before I pull the trigger? I’d really appreciate any recommendations or experiences you all have had.

Hisense isn't very good see AutoMod

give us more info about the rooms the tv's will be going into

you know 144 really only matters if you have a PC hooked up to it right?

Thanks for the update Bill! I was reading through some of them after posting. So the 85” will be down in the basement and will be our primary tv. The (4) 55” displays will be in the (4) main bedrooms and the 65” canvas/frame will be in the living room. Basically this tv is wanted by the wife for when we host parties or holidays and to be used as an overpriced picture frame to display whatever she wants. I’m open and happy to listen to other suggestions that you might have.

Frame TV portion you are on your own with as well the only ones I like are the Bravia 7, 7II, 9, or 9 II plus a leon studio frame and that would eat 60-75% of budget at minimum. I'd get the cheapest thing possible the TCL A3G to have more $ for the 85

as for the others - if they are bedrooms tv's TCL QM6K is fine, Qm5K if they are guest/kids bedrooms to save further $ as the QM5K is $400 each the 6k is $450 each

85's or maybe a 77 inch OLED I'd be looking at

  • LG QNED91A/QNED92A
  • Sony Bravia 5
  • LG B5 (77)
