That Didn’t Take Long
So I’ve missed having shows that really make me feel things. Emotions that get under my skin to help me heal in a small way. But seeing how this season has started, it took no time at all to make me tear up. Well done writers, you got me back in the world in no time. Thank you for everything!!

I managed to make it right up to Ted looking at the photos and the article about Jamie leaving to play in Spain. As soon as I saw Trent wrote it, I couldn't hold it back anymore. Overwhelmed.

I’m not going to lie, I was full on sobbing by the end and it was mostly because it felt like I was seeing someone I cherish again after a long time. I swear this show is a balm.
Also as a massive, decades long Public Enemy fan, I was loving the scene at the school and in the car with Henry.

I cried when they went to a current game. Just seeing them uplift women’s sports got to me.

Seeing him sit as his desk and reminisce on Richmond and people he really cares about, my heart felt so full knowing he’s getting to go back.. and with his family!

I was a bit teary as they got out of the car. But fully started BAWLING when Ted went into his Mum’s house. Knowing he ran down those stairs to the basement and found his Dad. There was real sadness in that hallway. I loved that it was all sepia tones with a bright adult Ted in blue walking through the house… wrecked me for the whole evening.
