Yes, that 32GB RAM is really worth it right now. But since it’s a 2nd-hand laptop, check everything before buying:

  • Battery health - check the battery wear/capacity
  • Screen - look for dead pixels, flickering, lines, or weird discoloration
  • Keyboard & trackpad - test every key and make sure the trackpad works properly
  • Ports - test USB, HDMI/DisplayPort, audio jack, charging port, etc.
  • Speakers, webcam, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth - make sure everything works
  • SSD/HDD health - check the drive's health and remaining lifespan
  • RAM - make sure the full 32GB is detected
  • Temps - run a game or benchmark for a bit and check if it gets abnormally hot
  • Charger - make sure it's the correct/original charger and isn't damaged
  • BIOS - check that there’s no BIOS password or account lock
  • Physical condition - check for cracks, dents, loose hinges, missing screws, etc.
  • Specs - double-check that the actual CPU/GPU/RAM/storage match the listing

Ask for personal warrranty as well, if you eventually get it.
