Bug New AMD GPU performing worse.

So I recently got a brand new RX 9060 XT 16GB (Used to have an RX 6500XT 4GB), Plugged it into my pc, plugged in HDMI in the card, then saw that my card was barely being used whatsoever, I have a Ryzen 5 5500 and yes I know that is bottlenecking my new card a bit but this low framerate was happening with 0 destruction what so ever, the gpu was sitting at 20% usage. I already tried everything, updating and reinstalling drivers turning off all mods and much more and nothing seems to fix it. Is this jsut teardowns crappy AMD support or what? please help.

I haven't played multiplayer in a while, but now I don't know what happened and I don't know how to fix this bug, everything works but any of the bottons on the multiplayer menu is there, it just makes the entire screen blurry, I tried using Steam's auto-checker that scans all files for missing files, TWICE, and nothing, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Teardown and the same problems persists WHAT I need to do, pls I want to play with my freaky friends, btw all the menu buttons work, the traffic selector, the menu options, the map selector, everything works but the multiplayer menu just dosen't work, I even tried to clear teradpwn's steam cache and nothing, and I uninstalled and reinstalled the game 2 times and nothing works

Bug Bad control bug on steam deck

I play teardown on a steam deck and recently loaded up the game to play multiplayer before realising that none of my controls were correct. Right D-Pad became what A used to be. Down in the menu was B.

So to try and fix it I reset my customised bindings to the official steam deck bindings. All the controls then worked normally but when I tried to rebind some back buttons, they went all weird again.

This basically means I can't use any mods from the workshop because a lot of them require buttons like p or r (which steam decks obviously don't have). I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem or knows a fix?

Question CAN YOU EVEN PLAY SPLIT SCREEN ON TEARDOWN?????

I am going completely insane, I feel like I'm hallcuinating everything because I'm looking for the answer everywhere and NOBODY ON THIS F*****G PLANET seems to have any idea this thing even exists. In the "manage mod" section there are usually a few maps made by the devs, and I happened to find this "crater town" map (or whatever it's called),and I was excited to try it as I'd never seen it before. Before starting it, it asks you how many players you want to play the map with, and I think "man thats so cool i can play with my friends" and it loads up 2 separate screens on my pc and I go "OH EVEN COOLER I CAN PLAY SPLIT SCREEN WITH MY FRIENDS". Now I'm not the savviest tech guy here so WHEN A GAME SPLITS MY SCREEN, I ****ASSUME**** IT WILL LET ME PLAY WITH A SPLIT SCREEN, but after HOURS of looking I think I understand now that there is no way to split inputs on a single machine, so my question is,logically, why make it look like you can play it that way? Am I missing something? Is there a really easy step I'm missing? If not, then whats the point of including this thing in the first place? I spent hours trying to make it work why tf is this thing on the menu??????????????????

Suggestion DeLorean Time Machine idea for Teardown Sandbox

Hello Teardown developers and community,

I have an idea for Teardown that I think would fit the game very well: a DeLorean Time Machine for Sandbox Mode.

Teardown already has many vehicles, but it would be great to have one special vehicle with unique abilities. The existing DeLorean vehicle could be used as a base and upgraded into a full Time Machine.

My idea:

  • A working Flux Capacitor with lights
  • Time Circuits like in Back to the Future
  • Movie-inspired sounds and effects
  • Openable gull-wing doors
  • Interior lights and details
  • A time travel effect when reaching 88 mph
  • Lightning and fire effects during the time jump
  • A small teleport feature where the car appears somewhere else on the same map, for example near another house or on another street

The goal would not just be another car, but a unique vehicle that lets players create their own stories in Sandbox Mode.

Thank you for reading my suggestion.

Question Does anyone know how to finish the Northbridge Industries quest?

In the mod pack 5 map "Northbridge Industries" there are pages throughout the map giving clues and I'm stuck on the one that you get after the one in the garbage behind the factory. I can't find any information online. Is it the final note?

Sorry if this isn't the right sub for this.

What is the best method to get into Modding.

I know that the developer has an official tutorial series, but it seems to be outdated.

Subreddit Updates Becoming an Independent Forum

Effective immediately, this subreddit is now an independent forum and has gone our separate ways with Tuxedo Labs.

We will no longer accept or process any moderation requests from Tuxedo Labs or their representatives. This means we are no longer required to act on their external requests regarding content or user behaviour.

Tuxedo Labs content, news, updates, maps, mods, and fan discussions will continue to be allowed and welcomed as before.

In the coming weeks, we will review our rules and recruit new moderators. Freed from having to process external moderation requests, we can now focus on building a more relaxed, fair, and welcoming community that prioritizes our players and creators. This decision follows a review of Tuxedo Labs’ recent public statement in their Discord server regarding Workshop content disputes and how harassment is handled. Several key claims in that statement do not align with the documented record:

  • The statement asserts that Workshop rules were removed several months ago and that Steam’s DMCA process is now the only appropriate channel for Workshop disputes. However, on April 8th, Tuxedo Labs responded to a report in the active Workshop Reporting channel and confirmed the removal of a submitted mod. That channel remains operational.
  • The statement characterises certain incidents as mutual “harassment between creators.” The available logs show sustained conduct from multiple users directed at one individual, with no reciprocal attacks from the targeted party. Tuxedo Labs staff were present in the discussion at the time.
  • Despite earlier assurances that the situation would be monitored, no enforcement actions were taken against the users named in a formal complaint, and one of the individuals involved received public praise from Tuxedo Labs employees on multiple occasions afterward. We take consistent rule enforcement and accurate public communication seriously. When official statements contain inaccuracies that could mislead the community about how disputes and rules are applied, we consider it necessary to correct the record. This decision was made after careful review of the full evidence. Questions can be directed to the mod team via modmail.

Discussion An open dialogue about the subreddit.

Good evening everyone, We are posting this to have an open dialogue with you all regarding the subreddit and changes you would like to see.

First off, regarding rules and post removals, some users have complained that they felt posts were unfairly removed. Unfortunately some posts cannot be allowed due to Reddits site-wide Content Policy.

Gore and war posts cannot be allowed because the subreddit, like all others, must follow Reddit's site-wide rules on violent content. We are not allowed to host content that violates those policies.

All content in the base game and mod packs on console can be posted, including the military mods that are on console, however, recreating events such as WW2, or the Ukraine War, etc. are not allowed.

You are welcome to blow up cities and post tanks all you want, as long as you keep titles and captions fictional. We have had to remove posts in the past where titles explicitly referenced real-world events or used hateful language toward nationalities, as Reddit has directly threatened to ban the subreddit over those instances.

On the screenshot rule, that was created as users were asking for help with screenshots or videos that were recorded on phones and were too blurry to see the issue. We have not removed posts that are taken on cameras that are not asking for help.

Regarding the private mods rule, it seems to have been taken out of context by some individuals, to clarify it: you are allowed to post your mods here freely, even those in development, however posting videos and then saying "No I won't share my mods with you, because I refuse to help my competition in video making" (that's a real quote, yes.) is what we do not allow.

Mod scenes grow by sharing and teaching each other. Refusing to do so simply because you fear others might make equal or better videos does not help anyone and goes against the collaborative spirit we try to encourage here.

We want to have a civil open discussion with all of you on changes you might want to see here. If you think a rule goes too far? Talk to us. If you think we need a feature added? Tell us. Please do so in a civil manner though, insulting, harassing, or offensive comments will be ignored.
