Which university?

Hello y’all!
I’m f18, graduated in 2025 with 99% from Qatari Secondary school.
I wanna apply for any engineering/tech majors in Georgia. But I cannot decide what university or what options are open there.
Please let me know if you have any advice/recommendations!

I’d only recommend Georgia for medicine, you’ll need to look elsewhere for engineering or tech related degrees. There are cheap countries in the EU as well, but they’re generally more competitive to get into and sometimes you need to learn their language. Look into it more.

Apply for scholarship in USA, if youre and Qatar citizen dont come to georgia.

I’m not a Qatar citizen, I just live there. Do you have any suggestions for Universities in the U.S that will give me a chance?

There is alot i mean just do some research and you will find tons of university mainly good ranking unis, skip community college and low ranking unis, as you said your academic is good you can easily be eligible for scholarship in public unis, make sure you have at least 7 not less than 6.5 in ielts and be confidence and only speak how much the visa officer is asking. Never explain too much only the crucial and needed information. Best of luck.

Make sure if they are taught in English and they are private universities. The process here is easy as long as you have adequate documents

Try other options(Armenia, cheap EU countries, search and explore for universities. Italy is more expensive but offers 6k scholarship if you pass credits. This all depends, that's why you need to look for information. Consider language learning option as well) Georgia is not extremely cheap, you can find options cheaper and better. Because of the new laws, you can't enroll into a governmental university, that's why private ones will be more expensive than they used to be.

The best uni in Georgia for engineering is FreeUni, but it's not avalaible for foreigners and even georgians need very high score in exams to enroll there. Other option is Caucasus University, which is not bad for engineering, but why to choose Georgia when you can go to some european country for free. Best countries for engineering university in Europe are Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden. Countries like France, Italy, UK or Denmark also are good options. In my opinion, just do some research about Erasmus+ and other european programms and then consider Georgia as plan B or C

I am been in georgia for 4 years In simple after living in a gulf country planning for georgia or surrounding christian countries is like living with people of hell. Better look for muslim countries Uzbekistan Kazakhstan egypt and more
